STILL TO BE SOLVED…Need for continuous training and awareness actions

Information system for real time energy data retrieval and processing

Funding for large scale projects , e.g. energy improvement in the

municipality building and the swimming pool, fleet renewal and fleet

management, etc.

MEANWHILE…We perform a step by step approach , i.e. smaller scale projects for

energy improvement in public buildings

We are getting ready to submit proposals to national and EU co-funded

programmes

We are assessing new technologies, e.g. electric vehicles

We are designing pilot implementation projects, in order to carry on

feasibility studies

and one step beyond…

RESULTS OF PROCESS

We know exactly how much energy, what kind of energy, where and

why we consume

We have a deeper understanding of the energy profile of every building/

car/ streetlight

We have all the information for :

• A better use of energy

• Redesign / re-organise our services

• Making a priority list of where we should focus our efforts

• Making accurate calculations for the feasibility of each planned investment

• Understanding immediately where and why there has been a bad use of

energy at least at the big consumers
