Location

Whether it’s referred to as the Fairfax or Bagel District, one thing is certain: the area west of La Brea Ave., south of Melrose Ave., north of 3rd Street and east of Fairfax Ave. is home to a vibrant community.

Known for its close proximity to the Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax and The Grove, which are located just over a half mile away, this area of the city provides numerous examples of the fusion between the old and the new.

In addition to famous shops, restaurants and boutiques, the area embodies what a neighborhood should be. New residents are often taken aback when neighbors greet them as they are walking down the street.

** Fun Fact: The owners of the historic Pink’s Hot Dog stand on La Brea once owned 340 N. Fuller Avenue.
