Plan to attend and spread the word!

New this year! All 4-Hers need to be enrolled in the project area in which they want to participate at Achievement Day and State Fair. If you are not enrolled in the project area, you will not be able to exhibit in that project area. This is a requirement of our new 4-H software program. Double check your project areas to be sure you are enrolled in every project you might want to exhibit in!! Everyone is encouraged to get their 4-H Enrollment Forms completed as soon as possible. You can always change projects until May 31. 4-HOnline Requirements Deadline dates are very important in the new 4-HOnline software program. The program shuts down at midnight on all deadline dates. This is FIRM!! Thus, it is important to get all paperwork in prior to the dead-line so it can be inputted into the system by the deadline.

Senior High 4-H members are invited to apply for several 4-H Scholarships available through April 1, 2013. Applicants must submit folders with application materials to the Extension Office. The folders should include a one-page cover letter, a resume of up to three pages, school transcripts, and a one-page letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, or 4-H Club Leader. More information is avail-able at igrow.org/up/resources/01-4001-2013.pdf.

All 4-Hers who wish to participate in 4-H rodeo need to complete a 4-H Rodeo packet. These 6 pages of information need to be filled out by every 4-H Rodeo Contestant in the County and turned into the Extension Office by May 1st. Even if you do not plan to go to the State Finals you must return these forms. The in-formation generated from these forms will be used to maintain a list of 4-H Rodeo eligible contests on the 4-H Rodeo Website. If members do not return these forms by May 1st, they will not be eligible to participate in 4- H Rodeo this season at any County or Regional Rodeos.
