The man we call the good thief turned his life around in the final hour when he encountered Jesus on the cross at Golgotha. One good act of repentance was all it took for him to enter the Kingdom. The passport to the reign of God is still the same. Repentance involves a change of heart followed by a change in direction. What needs to change in your habits, relationships, attitudes? Most of us are generous when its convenient for us. We are generous when we have the time or the money. But, generosity is the opposite of that. It means giving of ones time, money, compassion, forgiveness or mercy when its not convenient; when its not on our schedule, but on the other persons schedule.
The Adoration Chapel of St. George needs more committed adorers. There are currently 4 open hours
that must be filled. We could always use more adorers at all times.

SVDP Giving Tree Program It is that time of year when we give Thanks for all that God has given us and places in our hearts the desire to give back. The St Vincent DePaul Giving Tree Program is beginning with 28+ families in need this Christmas. The tree will be up on Saturday 11-18.
