On one. (1) occaai.on the men were questioned to determine ll:t they were r!l,ceiv1ng enough to eat. Of the ration strength or 1207· at that time, fi99 men complained of inadequate servings. A shortage of. utensils .essential to the efficient uper&tion of' t.t1-e mess hall was CXPir1enced. Tt..is, of course, greatly hampered the rapid preparation and serving of the food.
