What to say at an Event:1. Hi, nice to meet you. 2. How did you get into your

business?Do NOT get into what you do. If they ask, keep it simple. It’s NOT about you. It’s about them.

Work Events continued…

In MLM - Call them the next day:Hey, I met you at [place]. You really seemed like a nice person, I don’t have a lot of time to chat w/you. I’m just throwing it out there, would you be open to a side project that wouldn’t interfere w/what you're doing already?

Not in MLM – Call them the next day:Hey, I met you at [place]. You really seemed like a nice person, I don’t have a lot of time to chat w/you. Just throwing it out there….. [your solution to a problem]

#3 - Post It Notes - MLM

It involves 4-5 hours a weekHustler Goal: 15 leads a day!Post 100 Post It Notes a day

Get a rubber stamp that says“Superstars ONLY! Make $50K-$300k a year. Don’t even call unless you are a producer and can prove it!”Make sure you have a funnel system for when they call you.

Why did you join or create the business that you’re in now?

Did you do it to spend more time with your family?

Do you want to show those who doubted you?Do you want freedom?How about creating a life that is significant

and that matters?

Are You Getting A Benefit So Far?

#4 - Realtor Signs

It involves about 1 hour a week. 5 Days a week.Driving around neighborhoods.

Call them and ask “Would you be open to a way to making income that has nothing to do with real estate?”Call them and ask, “Would you be open to the idea of providing (service/product that will benefit them.

#5 - Card Grab

Involves 1-2 hours / weekHustler Goal: 10-30 places a dayMap out your areaFind places in your area that have Cork Boards

where people pin up their business cards. Pick them up

“Not sure where I found your card, but would you be open to a side project that doesn’t interfere with what you’re doing?” OR “would you be open to(Project/benefit)….

Some will say No. So What!Keep it moving! Continue on your weekly round grabbing cards. The people that post their cards are advertising. They WANT to make money, SO if you have something that will assist them to making MORE money or even saving money, why wouldn’t they be interested? Again…focus on how you can help THEM. Not YOU. You’ll never know how many people will say yes, unless you keep going.Commit to 1-2 hours a week.

#6 - Referrals

Involves 1-2 hours a weekHustler Goal: 5-50 referrals per person

You’ve worked hard to keep your customer/client happy. Why not ask them if there is anyone else that could benefit from your service/product.

“You’ve got to know someone who has been affected by the economy, or who has lost their job…Mind if we shared this information with them?”

“You know anyone that could use our help?”

If they say, “No”…..“No? Really? No one you want to help? Someone who may be struggling?

DON’T BE PUSHY. Contact later for more.

#7 - Face-To-Face

Involves 1-2 hours a weekHustler Goal: 5+ a dayBe in a hurryDon’t pitchStay looseConnectMy FAVORITE!

Example of Connecting: You see someone walking out of an office building with a Company Shirt on.

“Hey do you work there?” “What do ya’ll actually do?” “Cool, what do you like about that?” [COMPLIMENT] – builds rapport, lowers defensives, & turns it into a casual conversation“Just throwing it out there, would you be interested in a side project that wouldn’t interfere with what you’re doing? I’m building my team in this area and I’m Looking for some great people.

Example of Connecting: Approach ANYONE

“Excuse me” [wait for a yes], “My business is expanding in this area and I am looking for people who would like to work from their home and earn over $1000 a month, PT or even FT. Do you know of anyone?”

Say less to more people. Stop trying to enroll people on the spot and take a more step by step approach.

Now, don’t put up with any mess. You will come across some nasty people. That’s ok too. You won’t ever have to see them again. Thank them for their time and wish them the best. Also don’t be weird. They’re human just like you. Same color on the inside. Relax. Get your mind on what you can provide and not the sale. Be natural and talk to them the way you would talk to them if you DIDN’T have an opportunity to approach them with.
