Since its humble beginnings in 1987 as a small garage school for disadvantaged children, the organization has grown from strength to strength. Today, it offers a diverse portfolio of microcredit products alongside quality healthcare services and various social development programs, across 25 out of 64 districts, with a dedicated team of 3,613 changemakers. PURPOSE STATEMENT SAJIDA Foundation is currently funded by a mix of microfinance programs, investments in pharmaceutical company, donor grants and partnerships with respectable local and international organizations. There is a substantial desire to expand these funding sources to include both publicly available funds and grants, and also include private sector institutional donors, and, individual giving. The ideal candidate will lead the steadily growing fundraising initiatives of SAJIDA Foundation, and ensure the organization is at the forefront of the latest thinking and action in fundraising, funding impact transparency and reporting, and effective donor stewardship with all our donors. Reporting to senior leadership of development programs, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for all the fundraising activity of the Foundation, improving the existing Fundraising Strategy, and coordinating the planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of all such fundraising activities. This Fundraising Manager will be responsible for establishing the processes, systems, creating a team and building capacity in order for SAJIDA Foundation to step into this stream. This is a new post, and ideally the organization needs a person in this role that is an all-rounder who is both strategic and hands-on. 1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1.1 DEVELOP ORGANIZATION’S FUNDRAISING STRATEGIES Contribute to development and delivery of the existing Fundraising Strategy ensuring significant and sustained income growth, developing 1- and 3-year strategic plan and establishing processes and tools to fundraise in our desired areas. Benchmark, research, test, and, where appropriate, develop new fundraising ideas and opportunities. Work closely with Senior Leadership, Development Programs to ensure budgets, forecasts, and accounts are accurate and realistic. 1.2 DRIVE FUNDRAISING OPERATIONS Develop high-impact and innovative donor acquisition campaigns to drive growth. Coordinate the planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of fundraising plans across markets. Work closely with the in-house Communications team to ensure that donor communications, offers, and benefits are creative and attractive. 1.3 DONOR MANAGEMENT AND STEWARDSHIP Utilise available technology solutions, or other, to develop a donor relations management system and manage relationships with individual donors, including a donor retention program to maintain donor loyalty. 1.4 FUNDRAISING EVALUATION AND MONITORING Establish and implement tracking procedures for each fundraising program/channel and ensure that fundraising targets are met. Ensure that all fundraising activity is conducted in a manner consistent with the Foundation’s culture, reputation and values. 1.5 DEVELOP ORGANISATIONAL PRESENCE ON DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS Represent the Foundation externally and ensure that development programs, projects, and wider initiatives and values are communicated effectively. 1.6 CAPACITY BUILDING OF ASSOCIATED TEAMS Coach and support organizations and frontline teams that we are working with, providing them with strategic advice and support to enable them to reach their full potential. 2. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE: We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in understanding, identifying and building donor relationships. Experience of effective communication aimed at senior executive levels for institutional donors, and outstanding interpersonal and

self-motivational skills. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Proven track record and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with a range of multisectoral, multicultural partners. Demonstrated experience in financial management, including developing forecasts, budgets and monitoring expenditure Proven project management and excellent organization skills. Adaptable team player who is able to plan, negotiate, and make decisions with high standards of personal organization.

2.1 KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE At least 5 years of experience working at a managerial level in fundraising for a non-profit organization or with a proven track record

delivering fundraising goals. University degree or post graduate qualification in a relevant field.
