TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION:

Pencil Tape Measure Drill w/ No. 2 Phillips tip& 3/16” Drill Bit

Roller AdjustmentWrench &

Allen Wrench's (Included)Level

IMPORTANT: Before beginning installation, read instructions thoroughly and carefully. You must determine if you need a mounting board for the top track assembly prior to doing any installation. Due to many overlapping factors such as the location of wall studs, the weight of the door and the various types of trim used in homes, we recommend using a mounting board in all applications. Track Assembly must be installed into Solid Blocking, Mounting Board or Head Casing. Always wear protective clothing and safety goggles.

Do not allow the edges or corners of the glass to come in contact with the floor or any other hard surface. This could cause the glass to shatter! Due to the weight of the glass door, 2 people are recommended for any lifting.

If you have any questions or comments please contact our Customer Service Department at:1-888-244-1734 or visit www.chaparraldoors.com

2. Securing Track Brackets to Wall.

A. The horizontal centerline of the track is established by measuring the door height and adding 1-3/4”. (Example: 81” tall door + 1-3/4” equals 82-3/4” off of the finished floor. Use a level to plumb and draw the horizontal line.)

B. If the door is opening to the right, measure from the top left side of the opening over 15/16” and make a mark on the horizontal line. (If the door is opening to the left, use the same measurements but work from the right side of the opening).

A. Pre-drill the mounting holes using a 3/16” drill bit at all marked locations.

B. Attach the mounting brackets to the wall using M6 x 70mm screws. (The holes above and below the mounting screw must be in a vertical line for mounting to the track.)

Track Placement (Continued)

Measure the distance from the end of the track to the center of the first mounting bracket and draw a line that distance from the 15/16” mark. Repeat the process of measuring from center to center of each mounting bracket and mark the appropriate locations for each bracket on wall.

3. Installing Track. 4. Installing Bottom Guide.

A. Mount the track to the brackets using M6 x 10 mounting screws.

B. There is approximately 1/4” of horizontal

adjustability to the brackets that are mounted

to the track. (1/8” in either direction.)

A. The bottom guide is to be positioned 1/2” off of

the wall and even with the finished opening.

Note: if there are baseboards, then the bottom guide will be positioned against the baseboard and even with the finished opening as shown. If Mounting Board is used to install top track, then bottom guide should be positioned ½” + thickness of mounting board off of the wall.

B. The bottom guide is fastened into place using two ST4.2 x 32 screws. (If going into concrete then anchors will be required.)

C. Make sure that whether the door is in the open or closed position that the door NEVER leaves the bottom guide.

4. Installing Bottom Guide (Continued)

A. Using the Roller Adjustment Wrench and the

Allen Wrench, disassemble the Roller Assembly

as shown in image (A).

B. Insert the parts located in the rectangle shown in

step (A) thru the glass as shown in image (B).

Twist outer rings together until snug. Do not over-tighten!

C. Attach the roller bracket to the outer ring as shown

in image (C) and tighten with Allen Wrench.

Replace decorative caps with Roller Adj. Wrench.

CAUTIONDO NOT ALLOW THE

EDGES OR CORNERS OF THE GLASS TO COME IN

CONTACT WITH THE FLOOR OR ANY OTHER HARD SURFACE. THIS

COULD CAUSE THE GLASS TO SHATTER.

(B)5. Door Assembly.

A. The bottom guide is designed to allow for various

glass thicknesses.

B. Push down on the plastic insert and rotate it to

the 10mm glass thickness by aligning the

protrusion with the corresponding setting. The

above image is set at 10mm.

6. Installing the Door.

7. Track Stop Installation.

A. Remove Bottom Bumper Pads from track stops and discard.

B. Slide the left side track stop over the track and tighten it in place so that the door is positioned, allowing for 2” of overlap on each side. Note: The track stops are handed.

C. Next slide the right side track stop over the track and tighten in place so the door is out of the opening, allowing for maximum egress.

8. Adjusting Door.

A. Create a 2” overlap on each side of the opening when in the closed position.

B. Make final adjustments to plumb the door and tighten the track stop screws to firmly secure it to the track.

A. Remove the Anti-Jump posts. Using 2 people, lift and place the door into the bottom guide and bring the top of the door up over the track as shown.

B. Install the anti-jumps as shown.
