1. PLANT MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION METHODS SHALL MEET OR EXCEED THE
MINIMUM STANDARDS ESTABLISHED IN THE LATEST EDITION OF THE B.C.
LANDSCAPE STANDARDS.
2. THE LANDSCAPE DESIGNATION HEREIN IS CONCEPTUAL, BUT REFLECTS THE
MINIMUM CITY OF KELOWNA FORM AND CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS.
3. PLANT MATER SELECTION ARE CONCEPTUAL ONLY. FINAL PLANTING SELECTIONS
MAY VARY DEPENDING UPON AVAILABILITY.
4. IMPORT GROWING MEDIUM SHALL BE PLACED AT 450mm MIN. DEPTH IN ALL
IMPORTED AREAS AND 100mm DEPTH IN TURF AREAS SHOWN ON THE PLAN.
IMPORTED GROWING MEDIUM SHALL MEET THE BC INTERIOR "2P" SPECIFICATION

5. COMPOSTED BARCK MULCH SHALL BE PLACED AT 75mm MIN. DEPTH IN ALL

6. TURF AREAS FROM SOD SHALL BE No.1 GRADE GROWN FROM CERTIFIED SEED OF
IMPROVED CULTIVARS FOR SALE IN B.C. AND SHAL BE TOLERANT OF DROUGHT
CONDITIONS. TURF SHALL MEET EXISTING GRADES AND HARD SURFACES FLUSH.
7. ALL SOFT LANDSCAPE AREAS SHALL BE WATERED WITH A HIGH EFFICIENCY
IRRIGATION SYSTEM.
