IMP provided a turn-key automated sample station, fully integrated into two separate automated robotic sample

preparation and analysis cells

The sample station receives different samples of up to 1 ton in mass from the plant

Integrated pycnometers determine the density of the ore

Samples for manual jigging and other metallurgical tests are automatically produced in the process

Plant samples are rapidly dried using IMP’s novel IR dryers.

Pit samples are dried conventionally

Crushing, milling, fusion, 4 point LOI testing, and XRF analysis are all automatically performed by the system

The facility runs with minimal staff and produces 800 fusions per day

All process and analytical data is managed by IMP’s ControlTrack LIMS
