What once started off as a small, family-owned tax service, has now become a full service accounting and financial firm.

Located on Columbia Avenue in Lancaster county, Loeffler Financial Group specializes in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services, along with offering businesses and individuals a proactive approach as a trusted business partner. This January will mark their 16th year in business, which was started back in 2001 by Douglas Loeffler’s father, Craig Loeffler.

Douglas Loeffler, Vice President of Loeffler Financial Group, oversees the day-to-day operations and has watched the business flourish first hand for almost a decade. “As I matured, I started working harder, staying later, and watching the firm grow.” What started with only six clients has now risen quickly to thousands of clients all over the U.S. “We have clients in 25 different states.”

Douglas is very passionate about the firm, saying, “Our relationships with our clients is probably one of the biggest areas that sets us apart from our competitors.” Their knowledgeable and widely diverse staff are another huge asset that sets their firm apart from others in the same field, along with their industry-low fees. In 2015, Loeffler Financial Group was recognized in the top ten percent of tax firms for volume of tax returns filed that year. They had a 92.76 percent acceptance rate, which is better than the overall industry average.

Family is extremely important to Douglas. Without his mother and father, Douglas feels he would not be who he is today. He enjoys being spontaneous and spending time with his wife. He also enjoys giving back to the local community.s
