SUBJECT: Illuminated Sign Assembly, Project No. HSIP-0147(503), Lee County.

Alabama Standard Specifications, 2018 Edition, SECTION 730 shall be modified as follows:

SECTION 730 TRAFFIC SIGNALS

730.05 Basis of Payment. (a) Unit Price Coverage.

In Subarticle 730.05(a), Item 730-O shall be replaced with the following:

Item 730-O. Illuminated Sign Assembly will be paid for at the contract unit price which shall be full compensation for furnishing and installing a regulatory or warning sign with accompanying vehicular signal head or embedded flashing LEDs including all attachment hardware, connections, and for all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary for a complete and operational illuminated sign.

(b) Payment will be made under Item No.

Pay Item 730-O shall be replaced with the following:

730-O Illuminated Sign Assembly Lighting Method, Power Source - per each Lighting Method – Specify “with Flashing Beacon” or “with Embedded LEDs” Power Source – Solar or Utility Powered
