    Associate o Applied Science: Entrepreneurship Tis programprepares students to develop the insight needed to discover and createentrepreneurial opportunities and the expertise to successully startand manage their own businesses to take advantage o these oppor-tunities. Upon completion, students should have the knowledge andskills needed to assess new enterprise opportunities, obtain nancialresources, market and start new ventures, and manage entrepreneurialventures or growth and protability. Individuals who already ownand operate their own businesses acquire the background necessaryto upgrade skills and broaden their areas o expertise. In addition,the interdisciplinary aspects o the program ofer students training tocomplement their major eld o study with an additional concentra-tion in entrepreneurship.

    Students must demonstrate college-level prociency in reading, writ-ing, and mathematics as prerequisites or courses in this program.Skills in these areas may afect the sequence o courses in whichstudents can enroll and may also extend the time required to com-plete this program.
