Most presentations are designed to be shown in color but slides and handouts are usually printed in black and

white or shades of gray (grayscale).

Print Preview : a view of document as it will appear

when you print it.

You can also make certain changes when you preview before printing. You can select:

-what you want to print : the presentation, handouts, notes pages, or just the outline

-a layout for handouts-to add a frame around each slide for

print out only-orientation (portrait or landscape) for

handouts, notes pages, or an outline-header and footer options

SLIDES AND TRANSPARENCIES

You might choose to print only the slides and use them as handouts.

Slides fit one per page and can be sized to fit a variety of paper

sizes. Slides can also be sized to fit standard transparencies (for OHP), 35mm slides, or can

customize the fit and orientation.

PRINT SLIDES

Microsoft PowerPoint automatically optimizes your slides to print to the printer have selected- either black

and white or color.

1. Set up the slide size for printing.

What box, click Slides.

Note : If you want to print out slides in color, on the

View menu, point Color/Grayscale, and then

click Color. You must have a color printer selected as your default printer to

preview the slides in color in Print Preview.

2. In normal view, click Expand All to show just the slide titles or all levels of text.
