Download the Integrity Data Setup.exe a. All of our products are in this install. If you only want to install the Sypnio ACA Compliance
solution, select Custom in the installer and then select Sypnio ACA Compliance as the product you wish to install. Here is the 2015 download link: http://www.integrity-data.com/download-software/gp-2015-software-download/

Uninstall Steps: If you are upgrading and were on a previous version provided by Sypnio Software prior to Integrity Data acquiring the Sypnio Software. You will need to remove the old version of Sypnio ACA from your Dynamics.set file. Complete the following steps to remove the older version from the Dynamics.set file. If this is a new install proceed to the install steps.
1. Remove the Sypnio ACA Reporting from your Dynamics.set file (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2013) a. Backup the existing Dynamics.set file by making a copy and saving it in the Microsoft
Dynamics GP folder or another location b. Open the Dynamics.set file c. Decrease the first line (the 7) by 1. This number indicates the number of products included in
the launch file. d. Find and remove the following two lines from the product list.
2014 Sypnio ACA (this may say LANAC ACA)
e. After the word “Windows” you will see a list of the program file locations.
f. Find the ACA.DIC reference. g. Delete out the ACA.DIC, F2014.DIC and R2014.DIC lines
2. Remove the ACA.dic from your Microsoft Dynamics GP folder (Default Location: C:\Program Files
(x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2013).
Install Steps: New and upgrading customer can complete the following steps to install the ACA Compliance Solution in Microsoft Dynamics GP. We also offer a web/cloud solution, which does not require installing updates. If you are interested in the web/cloud solution, please email [email protected].
1. Navigate to the Setup.exe files you downloaded. 2. Right click the Setup.exe file and select “run as administrator” even if you are logged to the machine
as the administrator.
This installer is for all Integrity Data products, if you want to install only ACA or a certain group of products, select “custom” and then select the products you wish to install. Note: Activation Manager should always be selected from the list. If you currently have other Integrity Data products open the Activation Manager window (Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > System > Activation Manager) and make note of all the products you have installed. The system will uninstall your current Integrity Data Products and install the latest version.
3. After the install wizard completes, right click the Microsoft Dynamics GP icon and select Run as Administrator to open Microsoft Dynamics GP. If you do not select run as Administrator you could get an “unable to open table error” after you select “Yes” to include new code.
4. Login to Microsoft Dynamics GP as ‘sa’ 5. If you receive a message “Sypnio ACA: Combined or Single Entities: An unknown error has occurred.

a. Open the Activation Manager window (Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > System >
Activation Manager) b. Select the ACA Combined or Single Entities product, the product NOT listed in the message to
verify the product is registered with a permanent status. c. Next, Select the ACA Combined or Single Entities product, the product listed in the message.
Unmark the company as active. This version was not purchased and needs turned off.
Table Upgrade within Microsoft Dynamics GP We now have to create the tables in each company database. You will need to login to each payroll company which needs ACA setup and complete these steps.
1. Open the Update Data Model window 2. Select the Home navigation page within Microsoft Dynamics GP. 3. Right click on the Home navigation section 4. Select Add > Add window
5. Within the Add Window Shortcut window 6. Expand the ACA Compliance Solution or Sypnio ACA Compliance Solution 7. Expand 3rd party 8. Select Update Data Model 9. Select Add 10. Select Done
11. Within the Home navigation section select Update Data Model to open the window.
12. Select Update all Company Tables checkbox 13. Select Update Company Table button
14. Select ok on the Table Converted message.
15. Navigate to SQL Maintenance window
16. Select the company database 17. Select ACA Compliance Solution 18. Select PJ_ACA_YE_Log 19. Verify 1 object selected 20. Select Drop, Create table, Drop and create Auto Procedures 21. Select Process
22. Complete steps 1-21 for each company.
Update Import Utility Complete these steps to create/update the tables for the import utility.
1. Navigate to SQL Maintenance window
2. Select the company database 3. Select ACA Import Utility 4. Select all tables 5. Verify 10 objects selected 6. Select Drop, Create table, Drop and create Auto Procedures 7. Select Process
8. Complete these steps for each company database which needs to use the import utility.
Updating Stored Procedures: 1. From the product download page, scroll to the ACA Compliance Solution and save the SQL Stored
Procedures.zip files. 2. Extract out the three SQL scripts from the zip folder 3. Save the three files in a location the SQL server can access
4. Open SQL Server Management 5. Select File > Open > File
6. Navigate to your folder where you saved the three SQL Stored Procedures within the Open File window
7. Select all files ACAIUStoredProcedues.sql, ACATables.sql and ACAStoredProcedues.sql
8. Select Open
9. Execute the ACATables.sql script for each company
10. Execute the ACAIUStoredProcedues.sql script for each company 11. **IMPORTANT** Execute the ACA*IU* and Tables StoredProcedures.sql first. If you do not you will
need to also run the Grant.sql Microsoft script.
12. Execute the ACAStoredProcedues.sql script for each company
ACA and Microsoft Dynamics GP Security The Security Task Setup window may be used to grant or restrict access to the ACA Compliance Solution windows. To open the window, select the Microsoft Dynamics GP menu, select Tools, select Setup, select System, select Security Tasks and enter the system password.
Security Task Setup Tools-> Setup-> System-> Security Tasks
• Input Task ID (for example we used ACA_Compliance_Solution)
• Task Name – input a task name
• Category – input Payroll
• Product – dropdown should be ACA Compliance Solution
• Type – Windows
• Series – Project
You can then select the individual windows for access or click on the button Mark All
Change Product – dropdown should be ACA Import Utility
Type - Windows
Series - Payroll
Click on Save
Repeat the process above for the reports providing it a new Task ID (ACA REPORTS) and under the Type option, select Reports.
You may elect to break down the security tasks into separate functions, thereby limiting people’s access to specific areas with the ACA Compliance Solution software. Because this software uses the same security engine that drives access within the core application, you can define the security structure that best identifies your company’s needs. See Microsoft Dynamics GP Administrator Guide for more detailed information on setting up security within Microsoft Dynamics GP. Once you have setup Tasks, you need to setup Roles.
Security Role Setup
Tools-> Setup-> System-> Security Roles
Input Role ID (for example we used ACA_Compliance_Solution)
Role Name – input a task name
Check mark the task you setup previously
You can limit your security roles to be very specific. In our example, we do not limit the two tasks as being separate tasks. If you wanted one role to be users who just need to run reports, you can set them up with their own Role ID.
User Security Setup
Tools-> Setup-> System-> User Security
• Select User ID
• Select Company from dropdown list
• Check the ACA Compliance Solution role
• Check mark the task you setup previously
ACA and Microsoft Dynamics GP Palettes Once ACA Compliance Solution is installed, when you go into Microsoft Dynamics GP, you will see a new option on the palette menu: ACA. Selecting this option will open up full functionality of this software and allow you to navigate through the various options on one window form. Keep in mind that depending on security settings, certain functions may not appear for some users. Please refer to the information in this document or the User Guide for additional guidance on specific features of this software.
