Learner Centered Teaching Methods“Teachers need to keep learning and growing – it is not a profession for the cynical or indifferent. The best can be identified by their enthusiasm and interest in pedagogy.”

Our Faculty Led Sessions (FLS), which were led by the professors, have endeavored to shape the student experience, by involving teaching with a dynamic interchange of knowledge with students, with continually assessed pedagogy for effectiveness of students as well as the subject matter. These sessions have created an impact in the increase in student research and building strong student –mentor relation.

“…learning with and from each other is a necessary and important aspect of all courses. The role it plays varies widely and the forms it takes are very diverse, but without it students gain an impoverished education.” (Boud, 2001)

KCT. BS fosters Student/Peer Centered Approach (PLS), which paves the way for knowledge acquisition and helps nurture the graduate attribute of collaboration, problem solving and team work. The PLS sessions has promoted critical thinking, reciprocal communication and openness amongst the students and faculty.
