What we offer• The University owns or manages accommodation for over 1,800 students at
eight sites across the city
• Students from outside Birmingham who make us their first choice and apply
by the deadline are guaranteed a place in halls for their first year of study
• All halls have CCTV and 24-hour security patrols
• Student Assistants provide support and staff are available during office hours
• Public transport runs between halls and all University sites
• Adapted accommodation for those with special needs
• Prices include energy bills and basic internet package

Jennens Court£110 per week (2012/13)280 en suite rooms in three to six-bedroom flats, each with a shared kitchenand lounge.Other facilities:> Common room with satellite TV > Laundrette> Car parking and bike store
What else?• Once you have accepted your room offer ensure you complete the online
induction as it provides lots of useful information and advice for living in halls
• All halls are non-smoking
• Bring your own bedding, towels, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils
• If you bring a TV you will need a licence
• Upgraded internet services are available
• Large electrical appliances (fridge, freezer, heater) and candles are not permitted
• Overnight visitors are permitted if pre-booked
How to Apply
• You can apply as soon as you firmly accept a course
offer using our online application form
• You will receive unique application reference number
which you should use in all correspondence with us
• Allocation of rooms begins early July for students
with unconditional course offer
• Allocation for students with conditional offers will
begin once exam results are known
• Accommodation not guaranteed for
insurance/clearing applicants but we will endeavour
to offer you a place
