Let’s stick together with Earn & Learn. Start collecting today. Between 1st May and 25th June 2019, collect as many stickers as you can. Stick them on the
sticker sheets and pop them in our school’s collection box here or at Churchill Woolworths or Midvalley Morwell. Earn & Learn only runs for a limited time, so spread the word and get everyone helping you collect stickers; kids, parents, grandparents, staff, neighbours and friends. At the conclusion, we will count how many stickers we have and this will enable us to get some new equipment for our school. If you need more sticker sheets, they are available from the office.
ACTING PRINCIPAL COMMENTS – MRS DEB DEAN Hello Parents,
What a great couple of weeks we have had! Busy, fun and highly educational!
Our excited students braved the chilly weather to participate in a Hockey Clinic on
May 20. Students were given the opportunity to learn a range of different hockey
techniques. They also played a range of fun games to consolidate these new skills!
Our Junior School took off for an exciting learning adventure on May 24. They
enjoyed getting up close and personal with our amazing Australian Wildlife. Now our
students will be well prepared to write many interesting and highly informative texts!
Thank you to our amazing staff and parents who helped to make this wonderful day
happen.
Also, congratulations to our ‘Senior Soccer Stars’ for making it through to the next
round in Traralgon this week! Great effort by those students.
Make sure you mark down the date Monday 17th June in your calendar as there is
no school on this day as our teacher’s will be having a Professional learning Day
around Reading.
GRADE 6 TO 7 PLACEMENT NOTE: Still waiting on a few transition notes to come back to school. Could parents please complete and return to school on Monday.

We played against Yinnar, Churchill and Lumen Christi. We won every game 1-0 and we got into the next round. On Thursday 28th May at the Regional Soccer Winter Sports which was a very cold and windy day. Our first game we played was St Vincent’s PS in which we drew 2-2. Then we won against Glengarry PS 3-1 then South Street PS Moe and won 2-1. We then played in the finals against ST Gabriel’s and lost 2-0. We ended up coming equal 2nd but we all played really well as a team. We would like to thank the Parents Club for supplying us with our tops and jackets.
