Register for your classRegistrationRegistration is required. You must be 18 years of age to participate, but you do NOT have to be Mansfield resident to participate in a class.

Payment is due at the time of registration. We accept cash, check, money order, MasterCard, Discover and Visa. Please make checks or money orders payable to Mansfield ISD.

Tuition and FeesTuition payment is required in full at the time of reg-istration. A processing fee of 4% per registration (plus $1 per item purchased) will be added to all credit card transactions. The fee does not apply when paying with money order, check or cash. Additional fees for course supplies and textbooks may vary.

In the event your written check is returned unpaid by your bank, PayTek Recovery will resolve the issue. Additionally, PayTek will charge a returned check fee of $30. The use of a check for payment is your acknowledgement and acceptance of the policy and terms.

Class LocationAll classes will be held at the Ben Barber Innovation Academy located at 1120 West Debbie Lane in Mansfield, Texas.

Refunds/CancellationsClasses cancelled by MISD Adult Education will result in a full refund payable to you by mail or applied to the credit card used at the time of registration. All refunds are issued in check form, returned check or credit card refund.

MISD Adult Education courses require a minimum enrollment in order to be offered. If, after registering, a cancellation is requested, a full refund will be issued as long as the request for cancellation is placed no later than the last day of the registration window. No refund will be given after the registration window has been closed. This ensures an accurate enrollment count for each course.

Weather/HolidaysWhen Mansfield ISD is forced to cancel the regular school day due to inclement weather, MISD Adult Education will also be cancelled. Tune into local sta-tions and the MISD website for weather reports and school closings.

MISD Adult Education will follow the Mansfield ISD holiday schedule unless otherwise noted by the course instructor.

Lost Items/Personal PossessionsMISD Adult Education will not be responsible for items or personal possessions left behind in classrooms or lost while attending classes.

Weapons/SmokingIt is against state law to possess weapons on school property. No weapons of any kind may be brought on any school property. Smoking is also not permitted on any school property.

Building things builds you. Basic Metal Fabrication Adv. Metal FabricationIf you have ever wanted to learn how to weld or if you’ve welded before, but just want some instruc-tion to help you out, then this class is for you. In this course we will cover the basics of metal fabrication including Shielded Metal Arc welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, cutting torches, and many other tools and equipment. Puppy Training Classes Canine Basics

This class will be a 6 weeks class designed to teach basic obedience to dogs over the age of 6 months. This class will be taught by a former K-9 Officer with over 25 years’ experience with working and training dogs. Participants will be required to bring proof that the dog is up to date on all cur-rent vaccinations. In addition, all pets must come on a leash and appropriate sized collar. Training will include: Basic obedience, Drive, Alpha-Role, Rewarding the dog, Crate Training, Protection Do’s and Do Not’s.
