A Day at Bal Bhavan

To make the students learn about plants through real life experiences, they were taken to the Ashoka Garden nursery. Students attempted various observation based tasks to make learning fruitful. A Visit To World Of Sports

CBSE i curr iculum i s based on Anytime....Anywhere learning. To uphold the same spirit and ethos, students are given opportunities to explore, extend and exhibit their learning. As in languages the students of class 6 A i were learning about sports and interview writing, they visited Major Dhyan Chand Sports Complex to interview the assistant manager and to learn more about various sports. Here the students spent their valuable time by observing different types of fields, equipment etc. that are used for different sports. They also had a gala time on the swings. Their faces were brightened up with smiles when they played sports such as basketball, skating, etc. With concrete learning and unforgettable memories, students returned school well contended and satisfied.

On 14th Nov’2014, CBSE– i wing celebrated Children’s Day in a unique way. The day began with cleaning up of the classes. Later Class I A i and II A i got an opportunity to enjoy a magic show and participate in a theme based Drawing Competition (Healthy Breakfast). They took part in fun races and enjoyed on the Bouncy which made their day. Whereas the students of class III A i - VI A i foot marched to Ashoka Garden. Parents were also invited to support the teachers. The students spent their day observing the nature and performing objective based activities. The students, teachers and mothers took part in different fun races. The self composed rap song performed by the students of VI A i added essence to the day.

An Ode To A Teacher Yours is a noble profession,

You are the builder of the nation. With you opens the world of education,

You inspire us with your thoughts, words and action.

Be it a doctor, engineer or a lawyer, The first letter was taught by a teacher,

You gave your knowledge, time and whatever, Without expecting anything ever.

A school can be without roof, wall or water, But it can’t be a school without you, teacher You are our friend, guide and philosopher,

Your words we’ll remember forever ! You are the torchbearer of transformation, Educating and inspiring generations !
