In November, employees of the company were asked to speak at the Ziegler Institute for Professional Development (ZIPD) Business Conference at Bloomsburg University. More than 1,200 students use this conference as an opportunity to network with business professionals and learn about American Industry.

Two members of the Airmatic team attended this year’s event, both of whom graduated from Bloomsburg. The company’s sales director was asked to talk about topics relevant to his work, but he decided to turn the tables as an object lesson. Because sales is not about what the company has to say but what the customer wants, he offered incentives for students to ask questions.

Also, an account manager from the company sat on a panel that talked about professional selling and supply chain management. Both individuals were proud to give back to their alma mater while building connections with the business professionals of tomorrow.
