2. Yr9Year 9 pupils receive 1 period per fortnight - this usually equates to 3 lessons per half term. Year 9 focusses on allowing pupils who may be interested in taking computer science further (to GCSE) an introduction to some of the elements contained in the GCSE syllabus. Year 9 is also commited to making computer science fun for pupils who may have no interst in the technical aspects of the subject but enjoy the creativity & group work involved in games development. Peer evaluation & assessment is at the heart of this year & pupils will be expected to produce a programming project each fortnight which they allow others to evaluate & comment on.
