Businesses in Allen find an education system that serves their employees’ families today while growing a well-prepared workforce for tomorrow. The Allen Independent School District is rated A+ by Niche school reviews based on parent, student and professional reviews, placing the system #11 in the state of Texas.

Allen High School

Allen High School offers a number of specialized programs, including an advanced culinary arts program, the STEM program which allows students to spend a semester exploring careers in engineering, and an arts program with advanced classes in art and theatre. College credits are earned through AP, IB, or college courses taken on campus. Not only advanced in academics, Allen High School’s sports programs are nationally renowned. The largest band in the country and the championship winning football team are both proud to call Allen Eagle Stadium home, which holds over 18,000 spectators.

Allen ISD’s philosophy is that student success starts at the beginning with a challenging and engaging elementary and middle school curriculum complemented by a wide variety of academic and athletic extracurriculars. The district is home to 20 schools in the K-8 level (17 elementary schools, 3 middle schools), and all are built on a foundation of experienced teachers and parent involvement. In fact, Allen’s teachers have an of average 10.8 years of experience and 100% meet state standards as highly qualified.
