Church is written capitalized because it is still one, even if it appears divided into many denominations. The fact of ce-lebrating Christmas is a sign of unity among Christians. Only those who reject the Incarnation, and the historical fact that the Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14) reject this conclusion. So at Christmas time and your preparation, we think of Jesus, God’s plan to save humanity and the Church who joins in this celebration.

However, there are places in the world where Christmas is rejected and not only in countries that have historically per-secuted Christianity, even in Europe, whose culture con-tains Christian roots, where the apostle Paul on pilgrimage exposing faith and the apostle Peter suffered martyrdom, which took place the famous councils which preserved Christian doctrine and where the Protestant Reformation was born; begin to remove the traditional public christmas trees out of respect to other religions that might be offen-ded by the celebration of the birth of our Savior.

This work is the question, Is the U.S. on track to become an Islamic nation? which examines the phenomenon of the rise of Islam mainly in the American Union and the challenge this posesses to the Christian faith. Christmas is a time of reconciliation and that is why you can not miss in this edition Times of Love, where the message of salvation is brought to prisons in our community. This edition you will also find health advice from Dr Garcia Septien.

Christmas: Why is it that we can still celebrate it?

Se acerca el tiempo de Adviento y Navidad, dos trascen-dentales fechas del calendario litúrgico de la Iglesia.

Escribimos Iglesia con mayúscula porque esta es una, aunque aparezca dividida actualmente en muchas denominaciones. El hecho de celebrar la Navidad es un signo de unidad entre los cristianos. Solo los que rechazan la Encarnación, el hecho histórico y salvífico de que el Verbo de Dios se hizo carne y habitó entre nosotros (Jn 1:14) rechazan esta celebración. Por eso en el tiempo de Navidad y el de su preparación, Adviento, pensamos en Jesús, en el plan de Dios para salvar a la Humanidad y en la Iglesia que se une en esta celebración.

Sin embargo, hay lugares en el mundo donde se rechaza la Navidad y no solo en países que históricamente han perseguido al cristianismo. Aún en Europa, cuya cultura es de raíz cristiana, donde el apóstol San Pablo peregrinara exponiendo la fe y el apóstol San Pedro sufriera el martirio, donde tuvieron lugar los célebres con-cilios que preservaron la doctrina cristiana y donde naciera la Reforma protestan-te; comienzan a quitarse los tradicionales árboles navideños públicos en nombre del respeto a otros religiones que podrían sentirse ofendidas por la celebración del nacimiento de nuestro Salvador.

Este es el tema del trabajo ¿Está EE.UU en camino de ser una nación islámica? que analiza el fenómeno del auge del Islam principalmente en la Unión america-na y el desafío que este representa para las tradiciones y fe cristianas. Navidad es un tiempo de reconciliación y es por eso que no puede faltar en esta edición Tiempos de Amores donde el mensaje de salvación es llevado a las prisiones de nuestra comunidad. Hemos investigado y concluido que las personas que tienen buena relación con su padre terrenal, tienen mejor relación con su Padre Celestial.

Por esta razón es que Dios dice en su Pala-bra: “El hará volver el corazón de los padres hacia los hijos y el corazón de los hijos ha-cia los padres…” (Malaquías 4:6).

Todos necesitamos también el amor del pa-dre para relacionarnos más con nuestro Pa-dre Celestial. Recomendamos una reconci-liación de corazón con su Padre Terrenal.

• Primeramente: Perdonar

• Segundo: Hablar bien de su Padre.

• Tercero: Orar por su Padre Terrenal.

Haciendo estos simples pasos, Dios hará volver su corazón a su padre.

Para tener el amor de su Padre Celestial, no puede vivir al estilo que el mundo vive.

Los que viven este estilo de vida no tienen el amor de su Padre Celestial.

La palabra de Dios dice: “No améis al mundo, ni las cosas que están en el mun-do. Si alguno ama al mundo, el amor del Padre no está en él”. (1Juan 2:15).

Medite en el texto de San Juan 3:16, créa-lo con todo su corazón y verá que nunca falla el amor de su Padre celestial.

La mayoría de las personas hablan del amor de la madre. En una encues-ta que se hizo en nuestra iglesia, la mayoría refirió “que como el amor de una madre no hay otro” pero ¿sabía usted que el que no ama a su padre tendrá más dificultad en relacionarse con Dios?

Most people talk about the love of the mother. In a survey done in our church, most referred “a mother’s love is like no other” but did you know that, he who does not love his father will have more difficulty in having a relatioship with God?

We have researched and concluded that people who have a good relationship with their earthly father, have a better relation-ship with their Heavenly Father.

For this reason God says in His Word: “He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the hearts of the children to their parents...” (Malachi 4:6).

We all need the love of our earthly father to relate more with our Heavenly Father. We recommend a reconciliation of hearts with your earthly Father.

• First: Forgiveness

•Second: Speak well of your Father.

•Third: Pray for your Earthly Father.

By doing these simple steps, God will turn their hearts to their fathers.

To have the love of the Heavenly Father, you can not live like the world lives.

Those who live this lifestyle do not have the love of our HeavenlyFather.

The word of God says, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone lo-ves the world, love for the Father is not in them.” (John 2:15)

Meditate on the text of John 3:16, believe with all your heart and you will notice the love of our heavenly Father never fails.

• Estudiante de 23 años, mata a 32 personas antes de suicidar-se en la Universidad Virgina Tech.

¿Cuál es la educación que doy a mis hijos? o ¿Cómo los estoy educando?

Así son los niños y jóvenes de esta época:

• Debemos llamarlos varias veces para prepararlos y se vayan a la escuela

• Se levantan irritados debido a que se acuestan muy tarde vien-do televisión, concentrados en juegos electrónicos, chateando

• A 16 year old teen 16 killed his grandfather and a friend of his and then went to his school, where he murdered seven other people.

• Student, 23, killed 32 people before committing suicide at Vir-ginia Tech University.

• Juvenile kills 12 people and injures more than 50 in a movie theater during the premiere of a Batman movie.

• Shock in Brazil: boy shot his teacher and then himself.A

• 12 year old boy was the author in a U.S. school shooting.

•A child Mexican Hitman of only 14 years of age was found.

These are some of the headlines we see daily in the media, and a self question arises parents

“What is the education that I am giving my chil-dren?” Or, “how am I educating them?”

This is how the children and youth of this genera-tion are.

• We call them several times to prepare and go to school

• They wake up irritated because they stay up late watching TV, playing video games, or texting and talking through their pho-nes.

• Programan sus propios paseos y excursiones, regresando las jóvenes embarazadas además de ambos sexos alcoholizados y con huellas de haber estado en drogas.

• Invitan a sus novias o novios a sus alcobas, sos-layando la autoridad de sus padres.

• Intimidan a sus progenitores con llamar a la poli-cía y acusarlos de abuso infantil.

• Cuando el padre quiere imponer el orden y la dis-ciplina, con el mayor descaro dicen: ¿Te pedí yo nacer? Tú me pariste, es tu obligación criarme.

• Son hijos insensibles que cuando sus padres están en la tercera edad, les despojan de sus bienes, declarándolos no aptos, internándolos o más bien abandonándolos en los asilos.

• Las normas de educación: dar los “buenos días”, “buenas noches”, “buenas tardes”, “gracias”, “por favor”, etc. brillan por su ausencia.

What does it mean to you to be called a “ Miami TOP Immigration Lawyer”

For me to be an Immigration lawyer in the United States is something I do with dedication and passion because I identify with my clients because I had to live similar expe-riences Because I had to immigrate to the United States with my father and my sister at a young age. This was a traumatic event in my young life which transformed me.

My family had to be split up as I had to leave my mother and two brothers behind in communist Cuba.

My profession is something I consider a privilege and a gift from the Lord and is a great satisfaction for me to help and give legal protection to those who need it.

God has been very good to me and has opened doors that only He could open. I think that’s the secret of my success, so I share my testimony with everyone because God makes no exceptions of people and you too can achieve what He has for you.

I am an example of that. The most interesting of immigra-tion law is that while we have represented clients who are wealthy businessmen and we consult on issues of inter-national law, business visas like L1, EB5, E, investor visas , we also maintain in contact with the public we represent with great joy, helping families with claims and family pe-titions.

This always makes my practice dynamic, loving, and hu-man . It really is priceless how it feels to be able to help others. It is a blessing.

Error número 3: Dejar de actuar esperando que lay leyes cambien y sean más favorables Esto es un error. Cuando se trata de comenzar su proceso legalizarse en los Esta-dos Unidos, el mejor momento es siempre ahora. Cada día que usted no hace algo por buscar encontrar caminos legales que lo lleven a convertirse en residente o trabajar temporalmente legal, corre más riesgo de ser detenido y deportado. Aun cuando haya alguna reforma de ley de inmigración que pueda beneficiarlo a usted, estas nuevas leyes son un proceso gradual para el cual hay que prepa-rarse y calificar buscando solución a temas que pueden detener su proceso. Error número 4: Entrar a los Estados Unidos con visa de turista y no explorar la posibilidad de quedarse legalmen-te. Muchas personas tienen la bendición de entrar al país con visa de turista y simplemente permiten que el tiempo otorgado para la estadía expire, sin explorar la posibili-dad de obtener otra clase de visa que le permita trabajar o estudiar legalmente en los EE UU. Claro, que hay que seguir un proceso específico para cambiar su visa a otra clasificación. ¡Pero es posible! De hecho, es una forma que se ha usado mucho por inmigrantes para aprovechar su viaje como turista y explorar todas sus opciones.

Of course, you have to follow a specific process to change your visa to another classification, But it is possible! Muchas veces, las personas que entraron como turistas se pueden quedar cambiando otra visa y no tienen que regresar a su país.

Error número 5: No solicitar un asilo político con derecho a hacerlo. Para solicitar un asilo político, no necesariamente tiene que haber estado en la política o en el gobierno o departamento militar de su país. La persona solamente tiene que tener temor de su vida o sufrir discriminación o maltrato en su país por pertenecer a algún grupo de la sociedad el cual el gobierno de su país no presta protec-ción. Se debe someter durante el primer año de su llega-da a EE UU o tener una buena razón legal por no haberlo hecho. También muchas personas que pudieran pedir asilo político en la frontera o cuando son detenidos en el

país no piden el asilo político.

Error número 6: Aceptar o firmar una orden de deporta-ción voluntariamente cuando una persona es detenida sin consultar antes con un abogado. Nunca firme una orden de deportación voluntariamente antes de consul-tar con un abogado. Aunque muchos casos se pueden pelear desde afuera del país, en más efectivo y conve-niente pelear por sus derechos de quedarse en los EE UU mientras la persona está en el país que salir y tratar de volver a entrar. Además le podría evitar el tenerse que separar de su familia y correr el peligro de volver a tratar de entrar al país después de deportado.

Error número 7: Permitir que un notario o paralegal le haga los trámites de inmigración. Evite a toda costa re-cibir ayuda de inmigración de un notario o paralegal, aunque esta persona tenga mucha experiencia o sea abogado en otro país. En los EE UU los notarios no son abogados ni mucho menos. Un notario es solamente una persona que certifica una firma y no tiene que ser

This per-son may have a lot of experience as a lawyer in another country but in the U.S., notaries are not lawyers. A notary is only a person who can certify a signature and does not have to be knowledgeable about legal matters to prac-tice as a notary. Preparing immigration and legal docu-ments may be practicing law without a license. Besides this, as the immigration laws are very complex and all do-cumentssubmittedarerecordedinyourfile,anotarycanhurt your case instead of helping.

Mistake Number 8: Buying a business without making a complete study of the operation with an attorney and accountant. After many years of advising entrepreneurs and professionals from Latin America, I have seen many people who buy a business blindly. A business may look

Error número 8: Comprar un negocio sin hacer un es-tudio completo de operación con un abogado y conta-dor. Durante muchos años, asesorando a empresarios y profesionales latinoamericanos, he visto muchas per-sonas que compran un negocio a ciegas. Un negocio puede aparecer bien desde afuera pero en realidad puede estar a punto de quebrar por deudas de pro-veedores o demandas que puedan llegar en el futuro. Error número 9: No reclamar a familiares dentro o fuera de los Estados Unidos tan pronto sea posible. Muchas personas, teniendo derecho a someter peticiones fa-miliares a seres queridos que se encuentran dentro o fuera del país no lo hacen. Esto es una prioridad que no se puede posponer. Las cuotas se llenan con los que llegan primero. También muchas leyes dan prefe-rencia a personas que ya están esperando por algún proceso aunque este no sea aprobado. Familiares que están fuera del país no deben entrar por la frontera ile-galmente. Existen otras opciones como reclamaciones familiares, ofertas de trabajo o certificación laboralque se pueden explorar a través de un abogado de in-migración.

Error número 10: Ignorar una orden judicial o cita ju-dicial para comparecer en su caso migratorio. Cuando una persona falla a una cita judicial, el juez de la corte de inmigración ejecuta un fallo contra esa persona sin considerar posibles defensas a la deportación. Esto es grave ya que tarde o temprano esa orden de de-portación tiene que reabrir se para que algún día la persona se legalice. Nunca asista solo a una corte de inmigración al no sea que sea para pedir más tiempo para contratar un abogado. No sea su propio abogado. Si ya tiene un orden de deportación o sospecha que puede tener una orden de deportación, consulte inme-diatamente con un abogado. Es mucho más efectivo iniciar una apertura de un caso con una orden de de-portación que tratar de defender a una persona cuando esta ya ha sido detenida. Pero recuerde aunque tenga una orden de deportación, su caso puede tener solu-ción si usted consulta con un abogado que pueda hacer un estudio completo de su caso y asesorarlo adecua-damente sobre sus opciones.

It is much more effective to initiate an opening of a case with a deportation order than to try to defend a person when he has already been arrested . But re-member, if you have a deportation order, the case may be solved if you consult with an attorney who can make a complete study of your case and advise you on your op-tions properly .

La periodista y escritora Oriana Fallaci levantó polémica, una década atrás, al acuñar el término Eurabia para referirse a una región que comenzaba a sentir la presión demográfica y cultural de lo que ya no era una minoría musulmana.

Según un estudio del centro estadounidense Pew Research Center había 2.180 millones de cristianos en el 2010, de los cuales la mitad eran católicos. Aunque Fallaci fue fuertemente cuestionada en su momen-to, consideraba que este carácter que hacia vital para Euro-pa mantener su identidad, no podía aplicarse a los Estados Unidos por ser una nación mucho más joven y por tanto, aún por formar. Sin embargo, las mismas aprensiones que llevaron a Fallaci a crear el término Eurabia, llevan a varios otros a sentir que Estados Unidos corre el riesgo de perder su identidad.

Is the U.S. on track to become an Islamic nation?

The journalist and writer Oriana Fallaci brought up con-troversy a decade ago, when she coined the term Eu-rabia to refer to a region that was beginning to feel the pressure and cultural demographic that it was no longer a Muslim minority.

A study by the American Pew Research Center had 2,180 million Christians in 2010, of which half were Catholic. The total number of Muslims of all denominations was 1,600 million and it is projected to grow by 35% to 2,200 million by 2030, according to the research group. (2)

Although Fallaci was strongly challenged at the time, she considered this character that was vital for Europe to maintain its identity, could not apply to the United Sta-tes since it was a nation much younger and therefore still forming itself. En este sentido el documental cita una de-claración de Walter Rademacher afirmando que Alemania tiene una de las mayores poblaciones de inmigrantes mu-sulmanes en Europa Occidental, con una comunidad que sobrepasa los tres millones. Se espera que esta tendencia continúe por lo que algunos observadores calculan que Alemania estaría en camino de ser un estado de mayoría islámica para el 2050. (4)

También se afirma que para 2025 uno de cada cinco fran-ceses será islámico y en diez años la mitad de Holanda co-rrerá igual suerte. Esta última cifra ha sido cuestionada por los críticos del documental. Sin embargo, de acuerdo con Web Islam, ya en 2002 el 13% de la población de Holanda era musulmán, menos del 10% era católica practicante, el 5% protestante y el 1% judío. De manera que ya entonces, el Islam era la mayor comunidad religiosa del país, explica-da porque el 59 % de los holandeses no practican religión

Si bien algunas cifras dadas por el documental arriba men-cionado han presentado objeciones (pues la tasa de fertili-dad por familia en el caso de una familia musulmana francesa debería ser de ocho hijos para llegar a esta cifra en 2027) si es una realidad que la presión demográfica islámica está cambiando el panorama social de la religión en Europa.

Por ofrecer un solo ejemplo: el sociólogo Jan Hertogen con-cluyó en un estudio que en 2020 Bruselas tendrá 1,2 millones de habitantes, de los cuales sólo entre el 20 y el 30 por ciento serán belgas de origen. Un 50 por ciento serán ciudadanos por naturalización, de los cuales una gran parte serán de ori-gen musulmán. (6)

Sibien lasproyeccionesdemográficaspuedesaúnofrecerdudasacercadelafuturainfluenciadelIslam,yaenalgunoslugares esta es una realidad. En efecto, la junta de ciudad da-nesa de Kokkedal, la mitad de cuyos habitantes son musul-manes se ha negado a destinar 1000 euros del presupuesto local para colocar el tradicional árbol de Navidad. Sin embar-go, decidieron otorgar ocho veces esa suma para celebrar una de las fiestas del Ramadán. (7)

Sin embargo, no solo esta localidad danesa ha sido testigo del rechazo a las tradiciones cristianas por el crecimiento de la comunidad islámica. En Bruselas también el Ayuntamiento ha retirado el árbol de Navidad, ciudad donde el 25 % de la población es de origen musulmán.

Según informa el diario español Libertad Digital en barrios musulmanes de Copenhague se ha creado una especie de policía moral que vela por el cumplimiento de la Sharia (im-pedir el consumo de alcohol o la asistencia a discotecas por ejemplo).

While some figures given by the documentary presented above have objections (as the fertility rate per family in the case of a French-Muslim family should be eight children to reach this figure in 2027) it is a reality that Islamic popula-tion is changing the landscape of religion in Europe.

In this issue we will address a medical topic that is closely related to the source of healing that is God, because God is the one who restores. “I am the Lord your healer” (Exodus 15:26).

The sick are restored through cooperation of the human with the divine because the doctor has to be contributor of Christ, who is the real boss of the medical profession.

The supreme physician (Jesus) is always beside whoever exercises the medical profession in the fear of God and works to alleviate human pain. Christ heals. The doctor tries to preserve life. Christ delivers it.

God’s desire for every human being is expressed in the words: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all your things and be in health even as your soul is in prosperity” (3 John 2).

The Ministry of Healing, which I am faithful member, says the physician must be contributor of Christ. The Savior attended both the soul and the body and taught the gospel with a message of spiritual and physical restoration. Salvation from sin and healing of diseases are linked. The Christian doctor is united with Christ in the work of alleviating the physical and spiritual needs of others. The Christian doctor also is a messenger of mercy to the sick, bringing the remedy for your body and for your sin-sick soul.

The source of illness and death are work of an ene-my and the source of life is God who is the restorer. “Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with love and mercy” (Psalm 103:3-4).

En el Ministerio de Curación del cual soy fiel miembro, el médico ha de ser colaborador de Cristo. El Salvador asistía tanto al alma como al cuerpo y el evangelio que enseñó fue un mensaje de vida espiritual y de restauración física. La salvación del pecado y la curación de enfermedades van enlazadas. El doctor cristiano se une con Cristo en las tareas de aliviar las necesidades físicas y espirituales del prójimo. El doctor que es cristiano es mensajero de miseri-cordia para el enfermo, llevándole el remedio para su cuer-po y para su alma enferma de pecado.

Surely throughout our lives we have asked this question, not once but many times! We ask ourselves:

Why do I not get what I want in my life? If I know that I have the ability to complete the task?

This thought comes to your head normally after failing or not achieving a certain goal or objective that you have drawn. That feeling of frustration, failure, and hel-plessness,oftenmakesmanyofuswanttostopfightingforwhat we really want in our lives!

But what do those who complete their goals actually do? Is there some magic?

Well let me tell you that there is no “magic” to achieve our goals and dreams. The first thing to realize and un-derstand is that the goals we establish must be clear and realistic because if you intend on doing something su-rrealistic, not only will you not make it, but you’ll feel even more frustrated with yourself.

These goals are the process of determining exactly what you want and then making a detailed plan (in writing) to show the place in where you currently are, and the place you want to go. With a PLAN you will cross the road and will be easier to reach your destination faster.

By defining our personal mission (our purpose in life) we answer the why do we do what we do . Our vision (what to do) answers the what. And our goals (specific steps we must take) respond to what we need and how will we ac-complish it.

Having goals helps us get what we want! A person without goals is like a tree without leaves, without roots... IT DOES NOT GIVE FRUIT!

Think and analyze for a moment, if you wanted to make a hole in your wall, what do you need? You would quickly answer, a drill! Exactly! But did you really want to buy the drill? Pos-sibly no, you did not want or were you planning to buy it, until you saw the need to make a hole in the wall! In other words, the drill was the “tool” that needed to achieve the

Seguramente, a lo largo de nuestra vida, nos hemos for-mulado esta pregunta. ¡No una vez, sino muchas! Nos preguntamos a nosotros mismos:

¿Por qué no logro lo que deseo, si sé que tengo la capacidad de hacerlo?

Este pensamiento viene a tu cabeza normalmente, des-pués de fracasar o no lograr alguna meta que te has trazado. ¡Ese sentimiento de frustración, de fracaso, de impotencia, hace muchas veces que desistamos de se-guir luchando por lo que realmente deseamos!

¿Qué realmente hacen aquellos que si lo-gran todo lo que se proponen? ¿Existe al-guna fórmula mágica?

Déjame decirte que no existe. Lo primero que debemos comprender es que debemos establecer “metas” cla-ras y realistas. Si te propones metas surrealistas, no solamente no las lograrás sino que te sentirás aún más frustrado contigo mismo.

Estas metas son el proceso de determinar con exactitud lo que deseas para luego formular un plan detallado (y por escrito) y llevarte del lugar en el que te encuentres, al lugar a donde quieres ir. Con un PLAN, el camino que recorrerás será más fácil y llegarás a tu destino más rápido.

Al definir nuestra misión personal (nuestro propósito en la vida) contestamos: ¿por qué lo hacemos? Nuestra vi-sión (lo que debemos hacer) contesta el ¿qué?, y nues-tras metas (los pasos específicos que debemos tomar) responden a ¿que necesito? y ¿cómo lo voy a lograr?

¡Tener metas nos ayuda a conseguir lo que queremos!

Ya que una persona sin metas, es como un árbol sin hojas, sin raíz. ¡NO DARA FRUTO!

Piensa y analiza por un momento: ¿si deseas hacer un agujero en tu pared: ¿qué necesitarías? Rápidamente me contestarás: ¡un taladro! ¡Exacto! ¿Realmente que-

If you go through life waiting for a struck of luck to come to you, let me tell you that you’re wasting time! Possibly when you go down the street, and you see a beautiful house, it will come to mind , “Ahh if I win the lot-tery, I would have a house like that!” Or “If I had money, I would have that convertible” and you say to yourself, “But this is only for people that are millionaires, not for me!” thinking that this was the life you lived and you have to settle for what you have or how you live, but that is NOT TRUE!

Es irónico como la gente planea con más cuidado sus viajes y vacaciones que su propia vida. ¿No creen?. Si no establecemos un “PLAN DE VIDA”, con metas bien definidas y claras y cuáles son las herramientas nece-sarias para lograrlas, viviremos siempre de una forma desordenada, sin lograr nada, siempre serás una persona que vive a “MEDIAS” y todo el tiempo te sentirás frustrado y fracasado.

Si vas por la vida esperando a que un golpe de suerte llegue a ti: déjame decirte que estás perdiendo el tiempo. Posiblemente cuando vas por la calle y ves una casa hermosa, viene a tu mente: “ah si yo me sacara la lotería, tendría una casa así!” o “si tuviera dinero, tendría ese convertible!”.

Y te dices a ti mismo: “pero esto es sólo para la gente millonaria, esto no es para mí!”; pensando que esta fue la vida que te tocó vivir y que debes conformarte con lo que tienes o como vives. ¡Eso no es CIERTO! ¡Tú puedes cambiar tu forma de vivir! ¡Tú puedes alcanzar tus sueños y metas en tu

For children with autism, there are various strate-gies, interventions and therapies that can assist in the child’s progress. All children are unique and, therefo-re, each child may respond differently and progress at his or her own pace. However, it is crucial that any intervention begins at an early age and be done con-sistently. Below are some options for parents to re-search.

ABA Based Interventions:

Behavior analysis focuses on the principles that ex-plain how learning takes place. Positive reinforcement is one such principle. When a behavior is followed by some sort of reward, the behavior is more likely to be repeated. Through decades of research, the field of behavior analysis has developed many techniques for increasing useful behaviors and reducing those that may cause harm or interfere with learning. Applied be-havior analysis (ABA) is the use of these techniques and principles to bring about meaningful and positive change in behavior.

Today, ABA is widely recognized as a safe and effec-tive treatment for autism. it has been endorsed by a number of state and federal agencies, including the UASA Surgeon General. Over the last decade, the na-tion has seen a particularly dramatic increase in the use of ABA to help persons with autism. ABA principles and techniques can foster basic skills such as loo-king, listening and imitating, as well as more complex skills such as reading, conversing and understanding another person’s perspective. Occupational Therapy: Although not listed in the DSM IV as one of the recognized deficits in autism, clinicians have found that many children with autism have poor muscle tone. Others have motor-planning problems affecting their ability to perform fine-motor tasks such as writing. Occupational therapists are an essential part of the treatment team working on these deficits and primarily work on improving functional skills.

Infiniti, if you have been lying around and are a bit clueless, is the luxury version of Nissan.

Infiniti combines the reliability and dynamism of the Japanese brand with the richness, elegance and beauty you expect from this type of division, and it does not do it wrong.

The ‘M’ identification has been present in Infiniti for several years. It began with the Infiniti M30 around 89’-which became a ‘cult’ car that is currently used for drifting- then the second generation arrived in 2002 with the M45, which already had the keyless entry enabled, and returned in 2005 with the third ge-neration- which won many recognitions in the field of luxury cars.

Now in its fourth generation, for the 2013 model year this midsize luxury sedan is offered in three versions, named according to their engines: M37, M56 and M35h. The first was the one we used for this review.

The 2013 M37 carries a 3.7-liter V6 engine that un-leashes 330 horsepower and 270 pounds of torque. The factory has a seven-speed automatic transmis-sion with four different configurations (Standard, Sport, Snow, or Eco.)

Y es que cómo no serlo: la suntuosidad, el lujo, la comodidad y el manejo de estas bellezas traídas al mundo por su compañía ‘madre’, Toyota, resultan proezas bastan-te difíciles de igualar. El epítome de estas cualidades es el Lexus LS.

Cuando usted va a un restaurante que no conoce con un amigo que ya ha estado ahí, probablemente le preguntará cuál es el mejor plato, o bien, cuál manjar es el que identifica mejor al establecimiento, para darse una idea de lo que el negocio puede ofrecer a su paladar.

Aquí es lo mismo. Si alguien me dijera “¿qué tan bueno es Lexus?” o “si pudieras escoger un solo Lexus, ¿cuál es-cogerías?”, simple y sencillamente los referiría a esta hermo-sura: El 2013 Lexus LS 460 Sedan (o bueno, a alguno de sus años-modelo anteriores).

As if this were not enough, it also carries the Lexus Remote Touch interface, a central screen of 12.3 inches, a navigation system, Bluetooth and audio connectivity, the Lexus Emergency System an audio system and 10 speakers. By the way, be careful with that little screen as it is very confusing. If you have no patience or are not good at technological gad-gets, you better bring a child or a tech lover to control it.

There are attachments that can be purchased individually, such as 19-inch wheels and LED front headlights, plus the version L can be equipped with the Executive-Class Seating package, which among others, offers a DVD entertainment system for the rear seats, leather interior and a center console that brings more controls, a cooler and extra storage space.

Additionally, anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability, front air bags for the knees, side airbags in the front, curtain airbags and Emergency Switching System (which includes automatic collision notification, a button for emergency assistance , enhanced roadside assistance (and car locator if it was stolen), are some of the safety features .... but are not all it brings.

El ministerio tiempos de amores salio el do-mingo 29 de septiembre a un servicio en la prision de Okeechobee, a tres horas de distancia de miami.

El culto tuvo una asistencia de mas de 120 presos y en el aceptaron a Cristo cuatro personas. El Espiritu santo ministró con restauracion y avivamiento. Salimos de re-greso a una carcel en Miami, “Metro west”, en el Doral. Ahi se nos unio otro grupo de capellanes voluntarios, en-trando al servicio a las 7:00pm. Hubo una asistencia de treinta y siete presos.

La prédica estuvo a cargo de la lider de intercesión de la iglesia “comunidad de fe”, Nathalie angel, con una enseñanza para el hombre de Dios que esta tras las re-jas sobre como el enemigo lo desvia de su destino de salvacion en Cristo.

Fue una enseñanza poderosa, donde todos estuvieron atentos y quebrantados en la presencia del espiritu santo que a traves de la palabra de sabiduria, poder y uncion se ministraba. Cuando la capellana voluntaria, Nathalie, hizo el llamado para salvacion, pasaron mu-chos de ellos y volvio a hacer otro llamado de reconcila-cion con jesuscristo y pasaron todos.

Ahi se les impuso manos sobre cada uno de ellos y hubo, además, testimonios. Uno de ellos dijo: no es coinciden-cia el haber venido a la iglesia el dia de hoy, pues maña-na iba a la corte para aceptar una condena de 15 años de prision pero al oir hablar a Dios a traves de la herma-na nathalie, ahora sé que nada me va a pasar porque

Por eso rogamos a Dios que envie obreros ya que la mies es mucha. El pastor y capellan emiliano lamothe ha sido llamado por Dios para levan-tar líderes y capellanes que vayan a las prisiones a rescatar almas. La mayoría de las personas se preocupan por las deu-das que van adquiriendo con el pasar de los años pero:

¿Sabe que, de alguna forma, todos somos deudores espirituales?

En el libro de Romanos 1:14, San Pablo se dirige a “grie-gos y a no griegos, a sabios y a no sabios”, en cuanto es deudor de todos ellos.

¿Por qué lo dice así?

Porque aún no habían sido confortados en la fe, ni esta-blecidos en el Evangelio de Jesucristo.

Muy pocas veces nos detenemos a analizar cuán deu-dores somos, para con los que aún no conocen de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, por la salvación que nos fue

Le aseguro que de por vida. Y viviría profundamente agradecido. Pues de esta misma forma, Jesucristo está dispuesto a cancelar su deuda espiritual. Y el pago que le pide es mínimo: fidelidad y obediencia a su palabra.

“Porque ¿quién te distingue? o ¿qué tie-nes que no hayas recibido?

Y si lo recibiste, ¿por qué te glorías como si no lo hubie-ras recibido? (1Corintios 4:7).

Como una joven actriz dijo: un alma misericordiosa se conduele de la necesidad, pero un alma noble actúa ante el problema y lo transforma.

Muchas serán las deudas que tal vez se agreguen en el ‘récord por pagar” pero ninguna tan valiosa como la salvación de su alma. Actúe hoy que es tiempo, con un corazón y alma noble, buscando el perdón de Dios.

are you indebted to that person?

I assure you that you are for life. And you would live deeply grateful. For in the same way, Jesus is wi-lling to cancel your spiritual debt. And the payment asked is minimal: faithfulness and obedience to his word.

“For who makes you different? or what have you not receive?

And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it? (1 Corinthians 4:7).

As a young actress once said: a merciful soul sym-pathizes with the need, but a noble soul acts to the problem and transforms it.

Many are the debts that may be added in the “re-cord for pay” but none as valuable as the salvation of the soul. Act now, it’s time to, with a heart and noble soul, seek God’s forgiveness.

“What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?” (Psalm 116:12)

Una pregunta ronda por las mentes de muchas mamas y odontólogos que intentaré aclarar en los párrafos si-guientes:

Si se detecta un problema con la salida de los dientes en niños tempranamente? se debe tratar ?

Algunas problemas pueden y deben ser tratados en su totalidad en la dentición permanente, normalmente a partir de los 12 años de edad, cuando ya se hayan caído los dientes de leche y se esté completando la dentición permanente.

Sin embargo, existen ciertas situaciones que deben ser tratadas en forma temprana o tan pronto se detecten, por el riesgo de que se agraven o se compliquen con el paso del tiempo.

Ejemplos típicos son las mordidas cruzadas unilaterales, que son progresivas y tienen el potencial de crear asi-

If a problem in the eruption of teeth is detected early in a child, should it be treated?

Some problems can and should be treated entirely in permanent dentition, normally after 12 years of age or when all the baby teeth have been shed and permanent dentition is almost complete.

Certain conditions, however, should be treated early because they have the risk of getting worse or beco-ming more complicated as time goes by.

A typical example of this is the unilateral posterior cross-bite, which is progressive and has the po-tential of creating facial asymmetry, with important and noticeable esthetic alterations. Another exam-

ple is the bilateral posterior cross-bite which could be associated with discomfort, TMJ and/or muscu-lar problems. In both examples, early correction is easy but if left untreated could become much more complicated and the ideal treatment could even turn to be surgical.

All of the problems that arise from dental habits should be treated early, first by eliminating the habit and secondly treating the sequel if needed. When habits are detected early, the orthodontist can help in their elimination. When this is done early enough, many times the body naturally will bring everything back to normal even without the aid of orthodontic appliances or the intervention by the Orthodontist.

When baby teeth are lost early due to decay or any other, it becomes necessary to preserve the space that belongs to the permanent teeth that will replace them with a space maintainer.

Frequently, however, a space maintainer is not pla-ced and the adjacent teeth move into the space, closing the path of eruption of the permanent teeth.

An early treatment can help recover the spaces and favor the eruption and deve-lopment of the permanent dentition.

The so-called psycho-social malocclusions (those in which the child is affected by his appearance and/or given nicknames by his peers) can be treated early, generally with a 1st Phase treatment that usually lasts less than a year, but with immediate esthetic and psychological effects.

In general, a 1st Phase treatment does not rule out the need of a 2nd Phase when permanent dentition is complete. However, these 2nd phase treatments are usually easier and treatment time is usually shorter. In certain cases, the need for extractions are eliminated by the effects of the early treatment.

Cuando se pierden dientes temporales tempranamen-te, por caries o cualquier otro motivo, es necesario pre-servar el espacio para los dientes permanentes que los reemplazarán con un mantenedor de espacio.

Con frecuencia no se usa el mantenedor y los dientes ve-cinos se mueven cerrándole el paso a los permanentes.

Un tratamiento temprano puede recuperar los espacios perdidos y favorecer el desa-rrollo normal de la dentición permanente.

Las maloclusiones con componentes sico-sociales (aquellas donde el niño se siente afectado por su apa-riencia o es blanco de burla por parte de sus compa-ñeros de colegio) pueden ser tratadas tempranamente, generalmente con tratamientos de 1ra fase de duración no mayor a 1 año y con beneficios inmediatos.

En términos generales, un tratamiento de 1ra fase bien indicado puede producir grandes beneficios. Sin embar-go, no se descarta que haya necesidad de una 2nda fase cuando se complete la dentición permanente, pero esta seguramente será más sencilla, de menor duración y a veces sin necesidad de extracción de dientes per-manente, por los efectos del tratamiento temprano.

Mayoría de cristianos en EE.UU. creen que Dios da segundas oportunidades

La gran mayoría de los cristianos estadounidenses creen que Dios da una segunda oportunidad a las personas que han tomado malas decisiones en el pasado, según un estudio reciente.

Según las conclusiones de este estudio publicado por LifeWay Research, el 84 por ciento de los cristia-nos creen que Dios da segundas oportunidades.

Los resultados de LifeWay también señalo que casi la mitad (47 por ciento) de los encuestados está de acuerdo con que alguna vez dijeron: “Estoy tratando con las consecuencias de una mala decisión”.

Ed Stetzer, presidente de LifeWay Research, dijo en un comunicado, que los resultados ofrecen la oportu-nidad para que los cristianos “muestren el resultado de la gracia” para los que se sienten culpables por los errores del pasado.

El reverendo Ronnie Floyd, director general de Bible Studies for Life, dijo en un comunicado que lo en-contró un motivo de preocupación que muchos de los encuestados opinaron que era necesaria la acción humana para que Dios dé una segunda oportunidad.

“En total, un 44 por ciento de los encuestados creen que una segunda oportunidad de Dios depende de algún tipo de acción humana,”, dijo Floyd. “El problema de confiar en uno mismo para obtener una segun-da oportunidad de Dios es que no podemos confiar en nosotros mismos para hacerlo bien”.
