Summer Bible Classes A new quarter of Bible classes begins next Sunday, June 2. Here is a breakdown of the classes that will be offered for teens and adults:

Sunday Adult Auditorium: David Willbanks and company continue their study of the book of Acts.

Sunday Mustard Seeds AND Sunday Teens: “Self-Control” — In this series, Blaine Kelly (Mustard Seeds) and John Dean (Teens) will explore what the Bible says about self-control and address how to practice self-control on a daily basis.

Wednesday Auditorium: “One Another Discipleship” — Discipleship by definition requires relationship. On Wednesdays throughout the summer, the elders will take turns leading a study of what the New Testament says about how fellow disciples help one another grow as disciples.

Wednesday Teens: James — No matter who you are or where you are in life, James helps us see how faith applies to everyday life. Through this class, Jordan Holt will help teens see how James’s teachings can lead them to a faith that works.

Special Summer Class for Parents In addition to the auditorium class, a class especially designed for families with children called “Discipling Our Children” will be provided on Wednesdays this summer. How can parents point our children toward Christ so that they choose to follow Him? This class will allow parents to share concerns, frustrations, and questions about how to best bring up their children for Christ. The class begins Wednesday, June 5. If you have any questions, please see Blaine Kelly.

Women’s Bible Study Beginning June 6, all women are invited to a study of the life of Jesus as recorded in Mark. Mark presents Jesus as the unexpected Servant-Savior of the world and reveals what authentic discipleship of this Servant-Savior looks like. This class will ask all of us, “Who do you say that I am?” We hope you can join us!

The class will meet at the building on Thursdays at 10:00am throughout the summer. Please sign up in the hall so the correct number of materials can be prepared. Also if you need childcare, please indicate that on the signup sheet. If you have any questions or would like more information, please see Caroline Kelly.

MEN’S NIGHT OUT kicks off this Thursday at Longhorn at 6:30pm. Please sign-up in the hallway. For any questions, see Josh Frey.

MEN’S BREAKFAST will be held at the build-ing this Saturday, June 1, at 8am. Please sign-up in the hallway.

SUMMER SUNDAY NIGHTS return Sunday, June 2. This summer’s Sunday night worship will be followed by food, fellowship & fun. Next week kicks off with a potluck meal. To “host” a night, please sign-up in the hallway.

SUMMER KICKOFF for youth families will be at the Shafers’ on Saturday, June 8, at 5pm. The featured event will be kickball. All ages are invited. Please sign-up in the hallway and indicate what food you plan to bring. Thanks!

HIGH ROCK BIBLE CAMP will be June 17-22 for youth ages 8-12. If your child is interested in camp, feel free to speak with Blaine Kelly.

OUR CLOTHING GIVEAWAY will take place on Friday, June 28. You can bring your clothes anytime during office hours. Please see Cherie Dempster if you have any questions.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: Canned Meat, Canned Fruit & Vegetables, Pasta, Box Meals, Soup, Jelly, Macaroni & Cheese. Check dates please.

ONLINE DEBATE: Ben Shafer will be hosting a debate on Calvinism this Thursday at 8pm on his Dandridge Bible Study Facebook page.
