Benny Hainen, A True EntreprenuerBy Randy DinwiddiePublisherAmerishop.bizDeal Maker St LouisDeal Maker

A couple of significant things happened in the fall of 1970. First, I was born to a poor family in Astoria, Oregon. Sep-tember 1970 to be exact.

At the same time, back in the Heartland in Tipton Mo, Benny Hainen was starting out on his journey at the age of 22. In the fall of 1970 he too started his life as he opened his deal-ership for Ford. He was the youngest 100% owner of any Ford dealership at that time.

Benny’s family dates back to the late 30’s as a family of pro-fessional auto dealers. Both his uncle and his father owned and operated their own dealerships prior to him, so you can really say “Benny Hainen Grew Up In The Car Business.”

In the beginning he had just two employees, Herbert Jack-son and Paul Davis. “Boy have times changed since then,” says Sales Manager David Haile, an employee of Hainen Ford since 1990. Haile went on to say that the quality of the vehicles they sell now are better than they have ever been. “Its nothing for an auto to run 200,000 miles versus the old days when most

Page 4: Amerishop September 2011

4 AmeriShop.biz

Page 5: Amerishop September 2011

5

would rust out by then.”Hainen Ford has been the re-

cipient of several distinguished awards like the North American Customer Excellence Award for several years and The Presi-dent’s Award, which is the most prestigious honor as a Ford Dealer. Benny is not a bragger, he just does his job very well.

When I was a teenager I looked up to my uncle as a man of integrity and someone who I could grow up to be like. My un-cle was one of the hardest work-ing men I have ever known, and for years, he bought EVERY new truck for his Masonry busi-ness from Benny Hainen. As a child, you hear everything and what I heard from my uncle was the fact that he bought every Ford Truck from Benny Hainen

Ford in Tipton, MO, and that there was no other place to buy a truck.

That statement stuck with me through the years. My Uncle is not one to carry on, and nor-mally keeps to himself. But he talked all the time to my father about the positive experiences he had through the many truck purchases he had made.

Eventually I grew up, and now I am in business for myself just like my uncle and Benny Hainen. I spent five years work-ing to build a relationship and effective marketing strategy to be placed on the Benny Hainen Ford Marketing team. I guess all good things come to those who wait. Benny Hainen is ev-erything that my uncle spoke of; short-spoken and to the point

and if he says the sky is blue… it’s real blue.

In his office hangs a picture of Benny selling his first car that tells the tale of a legacy that Benny Hainen has carried out in the car business for over 40 years. The picture reflects the talent and enthusiasm that has resulted in a lifetime of success.

This year marks Benny Hainen Fords 41st anniversary, and my 41st birthday. Looking at the life of a man with a legacy like Benny Hainen and grow-ing up with stories about all of the things that Hainen does for his customers makes me very happy to have been able to work with such a successful business man who has been a pillar for the automotive industry and the Lake area for over 40 years.

The next time you are in need of the best truck in the world, a Ford F Series, go see David Haile at Benny Hainen Ford and take a look at that pho-to of Benny selling that first new car in 1970 at age 22. And know that you are dealing with a true professional that has weathered the test of time for 40 years. When you want car-buying se-curity, you want a dealer that you know will be there for you through anything. Many people brag of “growing up in the car business.” Benny Hainen has spent the past 40 years taking care of his customers and mak-ing friends. When you leave his lot, you will be one too.

While helping out at the Lake Ozark Speedway this summer I had the privilege of meeting John Sharphorn of El-don, MO. When you don’t find John working hard on Saturday night at the speedway, you can find him spending a lot of time in a truck carrying freight to St. Louis, MO, or cleaning cars at he and his brother’s detail shop

They recently moved into the old Mid Town Conoco build-ing in Eldon, MO. I brought

three of my company cars to JD’s for cleaning. I was very impressed that we could have such a DETAIL shop in Eldon. The staff doesn’t stop until the car is complete and their rates are very affordable and provide the best value I have witnessed in the auto detail business. Stop by and see John and the crew at JD’S Detail and tell them Deal Maker sent you.

John’s lovely wife just re-cently gave birth to a sweet baby girl. All of the crew here at Amerishop send our congrats and our referral for you to get that car cleaned at JD’S detail shop in Eldon.

October 1, 2011, Downtown Versailles Mo

We all have had those past life events that have stuck with us from childhood. Those awe-some times as a child, the clean fun times that make you think of the good things of your past as a child, and it was those things that helped you get through as an adult.

The Versailles Apple Festi-val has been one of those kind of events for so many Gen-Xers here in Central Missouri for the past several year. There is some-thing about the coolness of the

air that shows a definite change in weather and the introduction to the holiday season that we love to see come. The enjoyment of the people and visiting with friends and business associates.

This is your invitation to come see if this huge festival does the same thing for you. I have been attending these festi-vals since age 16 and I am now 41.

Thank you to the fine busi-ness owners in Versailles, MO that sponsored the “Apple Festi-val” page in this current issue of the Amerishop magazine. Can I get you to come by and say hello and thanks to them on the way to the best time you will have in some time? I’ll see you there :)

Say No To Repositioning of District 115By Randy DinwiddieIndependent Candidate District 115Commentary

I was out and about and heard from two different people on the street that the powers that be are up to their no good ac-tion again. For years it seems as though certain people are out to steal ALL of the Gold from the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.

I was informed that certain people from Camden County have put up in the house a re-quest for modification of the District 115 territory. This plan would steal the rest of the Mill-er County section at the Lake

Ozark area to District 155.I really wonder sometimes

where people get their educa-tion from, and better yet their common sense. Miller County Missouri has taken the brunt of the blows economically for the past 10 years, and if what was said to me is correct, the redirecting of the District could cost Miller County countless amounts of money over the years.

I am completely against the modification of the Voting Dis-trict. With the momentum of the vote swaying to Camden Coun-ty, politics could destroy Lake Ozark, Lakeland, and the other towns in Miller County affected

by this action. We need people to stand up and call their repre-sentative and tell them to leave the districts alone. Politicians can manipulate and change up

laws to bring huge advantages to one town over the next, and in my opinion this is a bad call.

I will have more on this top-ic as the details develop.

A Second Thought For The People What Does Made in the USA Mean To YouCommentary

By Randy DinwiddiePublisherAmerishop.bizDeal Maker St LouisDeal Maker

There comes a time when we catch ourselves, through the help of others, making a mis-take. I wanted to say thank you to all of the caring readers that took the time to give feedback on why we should keep press-ing the papers for the people to pick up.

Several people have brought up the fact that if the paper moves online that they would not be able to see the paper any-

more due to a lack of internet, several people are used to pick-ing up the paper and it has been a part of your routine for years.

We have heard your voices. One of the hardest things in business is the ability to make decisions for the better of not only the customer but the com-pany as well. I will make a deal with you. We will keep pressing this paper, if you will take the time to contact our customers and let them know that you ap-preciate what they do. We need our readers to make a big push to tell the advertiser that they enjoy what they are doing in Amerishop.

Times change like the wind, and I certainly hope that this publication can be pressed for the people for many years to come so that we can benefit all readers until it comes to a point that the paper is outdated. That time will come, but perhaps we acted prematurely on the deci-sion to pull the publication at this time.

Please show the manage-ment of this company that we have made the correct deci-sion by supporting the business owners that make this magazine possible.

Professional Regards

A Second Thought For The People What Does Made in the USA Mean To YouCommentary

By Randy DinwiddiePublisherAmerishop.bizDeal Maker St LouisDeal Maker

Dinwiddie 2012: look me up on facebook as Randy Dinwid-die Lake Ozark, MO

You see it everywhere you go, Imported goods in huge stores that people flock to as if it were helping America and not just their bottom line. As pathet-ic as that is it’s even more pa-thetic to dee how oblivious the people of our country are to the ramifications of 85% of us pur-chasing items from countries that hate us and do not employ

the same values as our country does.

How did this happen? How did we allow the devil to sneak in with all of his cheap goods and allow him to loan us money to set us up later for the kill? Who was responsible for these loans from China and who was responsible for the FREE TRADE law? In my opinion these people are guilty of trea-son and need to be held ac-countable.

Our children and grandchil-dren will not be passed a torch of hope as we were, but they will be recieving a dose of fail-ure from greedy self-centered parent and grandparents that

had to have it all today; entitled people who do not care about the future or what it has to hold for the very people that we work so hard for every day. (The ones that do work here.) Isn’t it time for people to wake up and stop purchasing the very same prod-ucts that have destroyed this country’s work ethic and val-ues, as well as our economy? I would say it is time to start DE-MANDING American Made Products or CEASE purchasing products until they get them.

We can sit back and make the lame excuse that it’s all you can afford, but then the mirror talks back to us saying that it was US that created our own prison and

it’s going to take the hard work to put our country back on the right track. Lets stop with the excuses and blaming my fellow Americans… Let’s be what we should be to our children and future generations ” Guardians of FREEDOM and HOPE!”

What does Made In the USA mean to you?

When we started our first publication called “Deal Mak-er” it was a big challenge just to gain new accounts to try to build credibility as a viable marketing outlet for any type of business that needed effective marketing . For the most part, newsprint publications and new car deal-erships have gone hand-in-hand to bring the public the news for years and years.

Since the age of the internet that has been affected . When I first opened Deal Maker I couldn’t give an ad to a new car

dealership.I want to talk about us gam-

blers out here. Not the kind that you find at the casino, but the kind that gamble on the suc-cess of America to be sure that our country comes out on top of anything else. Dave Drane was that gambler from Capitol City Chrysler www.capitolcitycars.com . He was my first new car dealer placed in the paper in 2006.

Lets get to the point, Dave Drane also believes in value for your money. Remember that $10.99 oil change that he ran all this winter to help the custom-ers out on service bills? Or that FREE loaner car deal still going on now at Capitol City Chrysler Body Shop in Jefferson City?

Gamblers like Dave Drane and me understand that if you are going to bet, you better be betting on the people who can bring you promise, and support those that will give back to you in the same way.

It has been my experience that there is NO car lot in Cen-tral Missouri that has given the service and value for the mon-ey that Dave Drane and Capitol City Chrysler has for the past several years.

I have pressed this paper, either Deal Maker, Central Mo Post, or Amerishop for the past several years. I would like to ask every one of our up to 25,000 readers to consider your next new car purchase from a dealer that I would put

my name on. Here is to people who gamble on America like Amerishop Magazine and Dave Drane from his family of deal-erships. Together we will repair what is broken from un shake-able teamwork.

When was the last time you felt like you got any value out of your last car purchase? Isn’t it time to see what that is like. From the $10 for life oil chang-es on all the cars sold from Capitol Chrysler to the FREE LOANER CAR when you are needing collision repair on it. Dave Drane will gamble on you and be sure that you come out on top as well. Call him to-day and he will prove that. You have my name on it. 800-700-8267.

After working with Jim Baumgartner, the owner of 54 Foods and a franchise of 8 Mc-Donald’s stores in Central Mis-souri, it has been a long time coming to give testimony to this great man. Month after month McDonald’s and Mr .Baumgart-ner has come through for the people of central Missouri.

It shows every time you pass one of 54 Foods Stores what it is like to be a true leader of the pack. With stores in Jefferson

City, Linn, Holts Summit, El-don, Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, Fulton 54 Foods has grown to be a force to be reckoned with in the food business throughout the central Missouri trade area.

We have all noticed the buy one get one free deals that these stores have been providing for the people of central Missouri for years. Simply outstanding is all that comes to mind.

Just recently there has been a disaster caused by a new free-way placed through the Osage Beach area, a bypass that has cost many business owners more than it seems they will ever af-ford or be able to recover from. We have a favor to ask of EV-

ERY AMERISHOP READER. I want to show Jim Baumgartner how much we appreciate him and his kindness by filling his Osage Beach store by the Home Depot every month through-out the winter. I would say that if nothing else we as consum-ers owe that to a man who has shown above and beyond sup-port to take care of his fellow-man at any expense to give back to those that have made him so successful.

I want to see all of our read-ers this winter at the Osage Beach McDonald’s to support a business that has led the pack on value and service for over 30 years.
