DESCRIPTION

Town Hall Meeting held last August 16. Topics that were covered during the Town Hall was Management's efforts in reviewing the company handbook and the whole Performance Management System. New employees were also officially welcomed. Lastly, success and challenges were also shared during the event. Communication is a two-way street. We used this time to realign and make sure that everything we do is in accordance to the company's vision.

ACHIEVEMENTS1. Improved process in Request for Fund Appropriation (RFA) by using Trello

2. Come up with standard template of the Task Distribution System for accurate

and timely billing of FSI clients

3. Revisited and updated Work Instructions for Team’s Awareness and easy

access

4. Strict implementation on the proper storage of Finance Files and utilization of

Team’s Google Drive for everyone’s easy access and monitoring

5. Accounting works (bookkeeping) are being done by the team; thereby, adding

value and competency in the role

6. We have already billed almost all of the 2012 pending projects.

7. All of the 2012 pending projects that were all collected / settled

Achievements & Challenges - Finance Department

CHALLENGES1. Limited capability of accounting software in generating accounting and

management reports

2. Long outstanding BIR Audie Cases (10 LOAs)

3. Finalization of 2012 Financials due to issues, one of which is the CWT

4. Vacancy of Tax Specialist post - resulted to added workload to other team

members

5. Difficulty in collecting outstanding receivables - either short shipment or not yet

fully implemented because these projects were left by resigned Account

9 Friendly Reminders

1. Clean up after yourself.

2. Don’t eat someone else’s food in the refrigerator.

3. Leftover food must be placed in a canister with cover.

4. Throw away your leftover food.

5. When using microwave, make sure to take your food out as soon as the

session is complete.

6. Do not put utensils, styrofoam, plastics and foil inside the oven.

7. Trash segregation. Recycle.

8. Refrain from coughing, sneezing, nose blowing while others are still eating.

9. Let your co-worker enjoy his / her break time.
