Adding the suffix ly to an adjective commonly turns it into an adverb: beautifully, swiftly, slowly.

The teacher does not like the lights because they shine too brightly.

Adverbs are generally grouped into five

categories namely Place, Manner, Time,

Frequency and Degree.

When used correctly, adverbs can make

your sentence interesting by adding

detail.

Calm, Clear, Definite, Extreme, Brilliant, Slow, Funny, Happy, Possible, Terrible, Tidy, Swift, Quick, Beautiful, Proud, Straightforward, Lazy.

How about good?

Roger really loves singing.

Roger sang his favourite song bravely

and beautifully.
