• Archeologist: a scientist that studies prehistoric people by digging up human remains and artifacts.

• Irrigation: supplying water to crops to help them grow.

• Artifact: any handmade object from an earlier time period.

• Migration: the movement from one place to another with the intention of staying at least temporarily.

• Petroglyph: ancient art carved into rock walls.
