Facebook● 20% of all internet page views come from Facebook● 77% of B2C companies and 43% of B2B vendors have acquired customers from

Facebook.● 699 million people log onto Facebook daily, which represents a 26% increase

from 2012 ● Five new profiles are created every second.● On Thursdays and Fridays, engagement is 18% higher● There are 83 million fake profiles.● Every 60 seconds on Facebook: 510 comments are posted, 293,000 statuses are

updated, and 136,000 photos are uploaded.● 42% of marketers report that Facebook is critical or important to their business. ● 16 Million local business pages have been created as of May 2013 which is a 100

percent increase from 8 million in June 2012.

Twitter● 34% of marketers say they have generated leads from Twitter.● There are 400 million tweets sent each day.● There are approximately 20 million fake Twitter accounts● 63% of Brands have multiple accounts● 9.9 million Twitter users in the UK● Most followed brand on Twitter is YouTube● 50% of technology companies have acquired a customer through Twitter.● Tweets with one or two hashtags get 21% higher engagement on average,

Pinterest● Conversion rates for Pinterest traffic are 50% higher than conversion rates

from other traffic ● Pinterest buyers spend more money, more often, on more items than any of

the other top 5 social media sites.● 80% of total pinterest pins are repins.● Pinterest generates 4x more revenue (per click) than Twitter and 27% more

per click than Facebook. ● 79% of Pinterest users are Women● Shoppers referred by Pinterest are 10 percent more likely to follow through

Google+● 97% of Internet Users look for local services online● 300 million monthly active users● 20 million unique mobile monthly users● Google+ is 63% male dominated● 40% of marketers use Google+, 70% want to learn more about it and 67% plan

on increasing Google+ activities● The Google +1 button is used 5 billion times per day.● Google+ has over 500 million registered users● 70% of brands have a presence on Google+, which is a slight increase on the last

LinkedIn● Just over half of LinkedIn users have completed their profile● LinkedIn is the largest B2B social networking platform● Over 259 LinkedIn users● 184 million monthly unique visitors● 38% of LinkedIn visits are via mobile● 40% of LinkedIn users check their profile daily● 200 conversations per minute occur inside of LinkedIn Groups● 1 billion LinkedIn Endorsements● 87% trust LinkedIn as a source of information affecting decision making● 77% of LinkedIn users use the site to research companies.● 50% of LinkedIn users build relationships with individuals who may influence their

Instagram● 1.2 Billion Likes and 55 Million Photos shared every day● 88% of brands on Instagram have shared at least one video.● Over 1300 brands and companies have joined Instagram to date ● The top 50 brands on Instagram have 722k followers on average.● The most Instagrammed brand is Nike, with over 19 Million posts mentioning the

#Nike hashtag so far, and adding over 1 Million each month.● Instagram videos are creating two-times more engagement than Instagram

photos.● The most popular day to post is Thursday, but Sundays receive the most

interaction for the average user● The average user spends 257 minutes per month on Instagram● 18 – 29 year olds are the largest user base on Instagram● Women are more likely to use Instagram than men
