DescriptionThis DC / AC system is designed as solar home system. It consistsof four SolarWorld AG solar modules, each with a maximumpower of 80 Wp, a Steca charge controller with Maximum PowerPoint Tracking and one 12 V battery (BAE Batterien GmbH) with acapacity of 210 Ah. The central solar charge controller ensures thebattery is charged correctly and protects it against overcharging.In addition, two Steca stand-alone inverters are connected directlyto the battery so that AC appliances can be operated. Steca Solarix PI – Parallel connection: A stand-alone PV system is relatively difficult to size, since often the loads and their average running times are not adequately known, or because, when the system is subsequently expanded, more loads are added. This is where the simple expandability of the Steca Solarix PI inverters pays off. Up to four devices can be operated in parallel. The connectionsare made via an external box, the Steca PAx4.
