2011, the total subsidies of assistive devices issued by

local governments amounted to over EUR$8,077,500 and

36,995 beneficiaries

provided subsidies to braille touch screens for the

disabled, computer interfaced software, blow/suck mouth-

controlled mouse, video conferencing systems,

communication boards and other IT-related assistive

devices.

Future Works:continue to examine and adjust the

subsidy table according to the actual needs of the disabled

through the ongoing review of the practice of the table
