Annual School Report

This detailed report from 2015 out-

lines the academic achievements at

Dubbo North PS throughout the

year, what the allocated funds were

spent on and all other pertinent in-

formation related to activities last

year. It is now available online on

the school website so please feel

free to browse through it and if you

have any questions please feel free

to contact me through the office.

School iPads

The school has recently taken deliv-

ery of, after purchasing, over 70

iPads which will be used as invalua-

ble teaching and learning resources.

This now means that there is a class

set for Kindergarten, a class set for

Stage 1 classes, a class set for Stage

2 classes and a class set for stage 3

classes. The support classes also

have a range of iPads for their use.

These resources were purchase out

of additional school funding and

I’m sure will be valuable compo-

nents of your child’s education.

District Cross Country

We have over 30 students attending

the District Cross Country this

Wednesday and it will be held once

again at the Geurie racecourse. Miss

Lander, Miss Ferguson and Mrs Jef-

fery will be accompanying the stu-

dents and I’m sure the entire school

community wishes them all the

best.

have been attending and completing a

whole range of Professional Learning

recently – from using iPads in Maths

lessons, to catering for students with

hearing and vision problems, to Out

Of Home Care facts, to dealing with

ADHD through dietary means and

more ongoing Positive Behaviour for

Learning (PBL) training. All these

skills and valuable information en-

sure your students receive the most

up to date and detailed education

there is to offer.

School Contribution Fees

These are now overdue and can be

paid at the front office; they are $40

per student or $80 per family and all

money goes towards purchasing

school resources for your children.

When you pay your fees you also go

into the draw to win a major prize

from the P&C towards the end of the

year.

School Tracksuit Pants

Please ensure students are wearing

the correct coloured jumpers, pants

and tracksuit pants to school during

the colder months. Black, blue and

red are not our school colours, so

pants need to be green or grey and

jumpers green. If this proves to be an

issue please contact me through the

front office and some confidential

assistance can be provided by the

school with regards to uniform.

Have a good week.
