FB: Facebook technical analysis charts

On Thursday, compared to Wednesday, price action opened lower (99.60, vs

Wednesday's close of 101.00), saw a higher high (105.11, vs Wednesday's high of

103.25) but lower low (98.88, vs Wednesday's low of 100.24); and closed higher

(101.91, vs Wednesday's close of 101.00). The day's range was 623 ticks.

On the 20-DAY MOVING AVERAGE ENVELOPE CHART below, price action rose

towards the middle of the 20 day moving average envelope (102.23). The

parameters of the envelope (99.16-105.29) are pointing higher.

The RSI (48.03) below is in neutral mode between the key 20 (oversold) and 80

(overbought) levels.

both are above zero.

The Slow Stochastics, below, are in negative mode, with the K line below the D

line.

The Commodity Channel Index (-1.58), below, is in negative mode below the

overbought 200 level.

On the DAILY BOLLINGER BANDS CHART below, Thursday represents the 4th

consecutive close below the middle of the Bollinger Band envelope (102.23). The

Bollinger Bands (87.81-116.65) are pointing higher; and narrowed from a width of

2,942 ticks on Wednesday to a width of 2,884 ticks on Thursday.

On the 5 AND 20 DAY MOVING AVERAGES CHART below, the 5 day moving

average (101.25, moving down) is equal to the 20 day moving average (102.23,

moving up); the 5 day moving average has just crossed below the 20 day moving

average to generate a negative signal. The 3-50 day strip of moving averages

ranges from the 3 day moving average (100.82) at the bottom of the range to the

10 day moving average (107.16) at the top of the range.
