~FDR was born at his parents estate in Hyde Park, New York on January 30th.

1896

FDR was educated at home and then he went to Groton private school in Massachusetts.

1900

• FDR’s dad pasted away whenhe was age 18.

1900FDR did a great job at Groton school and loved life, so he went on to Harvard University.

1905

March 17th Franklin married his distant cousinEleanor Roosevelt on St. Patrick’s day in NewYork City.

1906Franklin and Eleanor had their first child-daughter Anna Eleanor Roosevelt was born.

1910

FDR was elected into the New YorkState Senate

1913

April-He was appointed Assistant Secretary of the Navy under Woodrow Wilson.

1920

FDR was nominated for Vice President on the ticket with James N. Cox, but they were defeated.

1921In August, FDR was stricken with polio at Compobello, in New Brunswick, Canada.

1927

FDR founded the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation for the treatment of polio victims.

1928

He was elected Governor ofNew York State.

1932

FDR was elected President of the United States of America onNovember 8th.

1933He was inaugurated as the 32nd President of the United Stateson March 4th.

1936

His Re-election as President!!!!

November 3rd

1940November 5th he was re-elected for unprecedentedthird-term as President of the U.S.

1941

On December 7th was when America led by FDR entered WWII.

1941 continued…

His mother pasted away and she wasvery influential to him and his best friend.

1944

November 7th FDR was re-elected President.

1945

FDR died in Warm Springs, Georgia on April 12th.

1945 continued…

April 15th was FDR’s burial in Hyde Park, New York.
