What we would do in 2nd lesson:• Hand out recipe sheets • Then teacher does demo, talking through steps in French• Then active listening activity – pupils make guacamole by listening to teacher’s instructions

in French (pupil interpreter used to check understanding of instructions) • Quick tidy up of food tech room – wash up, wipe down etc. • Teacher hands out tortilla chips• Then tasting session in groups of 3 (numbered 1,2 and 3) – pupils fill in opinion section on

worksheet. • Then plenary quiz in teams – revision of vocab and recipe terms. Winners get a prize!
