It takes a lot of wind to fly a kite! We went to the kite festival in Cary.

A wind experimentGet the tools: string, lids and petroleum jelly.

You may need to cut a hole in some lids. Tie a string to the lid.

Rub petroleum jelly on the lid.

Tie to a tree and wait a few days.

The wind blew some lids around and around the branch.

See what the lid caught from the wind.
