Weeding maintanence beneath shrubs and plants can be time consuming, hard work and difficult. Bushes and small shrubs that are weed free are healthier plants and require less plant bed maintenance. Landscape fabric stops weeds without chemicals while allowing moisture and nutrients to pass through. Installing the fabric properly doesn't disturb the existing bushes or take a significant time investment, but it does provide an optimum weed barrier that can conserve water by design.

Stone, pavers and crushed rock are excellent as groundcovers in land-scapes for their low-maintenance, durability and attractiveness. Their lasting quality makes them ideal for use in foundation plantings ,walkways or driveway material. Properly installing landscape fabric before applying rocks over the area will effectively suppress weeds and prevent rocks and soil from mixing.
