THE BRIEFRestyling the lobby within a tight budget. Creating an inviting and modern area while respecting the classic style of the building.

THE SOLUTIONA Mad Men-inspired ambiance. The design style is created by merging retro elements with the rich wood paneling and the elegant marble floor.

The tertiary colour scheme conveys a warm and earthy mood. The inspiration came from the the wood paneling and the green marble statue of John Henry Challis near the entry door.

THE SOLUTIONThe design style is French Provincial with a mod-ern twist. Texture is used to create a cocooning feel. All materials selected offer timeless appeal in view of a potential resale.
