Aim Evaluation of the Early Childhood Education quality in Greece

Lack of evaluation procedures for the quality of early childhood education environment

Lack of valid and reliable instruments for the evaluation of ECE in the Greek educational setting

Objectives

Provision of valid and reliable instruments for the evaluation of the quality of early childhood environments

Development of a training program for using the evaluation instruments

Evaluation of the quality of 650 early childhood classrooms

Creation of a data base about the quality of ECE in Greece

Quality comparison of the provision of ECE among Greece and other countries
