The fair trade WHAT IS IT…? Is an organized social movement that

aims to help producers in developing countries to make better trading conditions and promote sustainability. It started in 1964.

The fair trade It focuses in particular on exports from

developing countries to developed countries, most notably handicrafts, coffee, cocoa, sugar, tea, bananas, honey, cotton, wine, fresh fruit, chocolate…

The fair trade The products may include promises of fair

labor conditions, protection of the environment, and protection of human rights.

All fair trade products must meet standards such as these.

The ethical bank An ethical bank, also known as a social,

alternative, civic, or sustainable bank, is a bank concerned with the social and environmental impacts of it's investments and loans.

The basis for ethical banking is one of transparency, investment in projects that have a social or environmental impact and not on making money via speculation.

There are some ethical banks in Spain, like Fiare and Triodos
