To recognize the power of our own presence in social fields.

A field may be thought of as extending throughout the whole of space exerting force through direction, magnitude, and momemtum. In physics, it is a physical quantity associated with spacetime such as gravity, electromagnetism, and quantum mechanics.

A social field may be thought of as shared experiences that belong to the individual, to others around you, and to the larger field in which you exist... the field can be felt as heavy or light, fluid or repressed, loving or hostile.

The atmosphere of a group - its humidity, dryness, tensions, and storms.... pemeates us as individuals, and spans entire groups...
