Prorail: auto opladen via inductie

• In eerste instantie gaat het hierbij om inductie; bijvoorbeeld een oplaadplaat op een parkeerplaats of bij een stoplicht, waar de auto dan automatisch – na identificatie om betaling te regelen – kan worden opgeladen.

In een verdere toekomst moet het mogelijk worden om ook rijdend op het wegdek de auto op te laten. “Dan is de actieradius onbeperkt”, aldus een woordvoerder van Prorail. Het klinkt futuristischer dan het is, stelt hij: er zijn al gesprekken gaande met diverse gemeenten voor de inductietechniek, die nu in het klein wordt gebruikt bijvoorbeeld voor het opladen van tandenborstels.
