Declaration of approval & liability

for the participation of a runner under the age of 18 years at the Vienna City Marathon or

under the age of 16 years OMV Half Marathon 2016

As a parent or legal representative I,

herewith declare my approval, that my son/daugther

(NAME/SURNAME) ____________________________________ born on ____________________

may participate in the following event:

� Marathon � OMV Half Maratthon

I am aware of the fact that particpation in the VCM main events Marathon and OMV Half

Marathon is limited to a minimum age of 18 years at the Marathon and 16 years at the

OMV Half Marathon.

In addition I am aware of the fact that the running distance at the a.m. events means

physical stress particularly for a person under the age of 18 years / 16 years.

I assure that my son/daugther has trained sufficiently to run the relevant distance. I

therefore declare my approval and assume full responsibility for his/her participation.

I have been informed about the possibilty to obtain appropriate information and

recommondations by the experts of the VCM Medical Center about the meaning of the

participation of a juvenile under the age of 18 years / 16 years.
