Egbert W. Beach Elementary Beach Elementary School is a community of young learners, experienced educators and suppor9ve parents. Our school strives to provide a s9mula9ng and challenging environment, nurturing a variety of learning styles and interests. In the fall of 2012, aUer extensive renova9on, Beach re-‐opened its campus to an excited community. The updated facili9es included two new classrooms, new outdoor/playground facili9es, edible garden and seismic upgrades. Beach is an exemplary public school experience that features passionate teachers, engaged students and ac9ve parents within a Norman Rockwell-‐like seZng where families s9ll walk to school together. With approximately 365 students and 30 teachers, Beach has a high academic performance record. The 2013 API was 965, mee9ng all of its growth targets and APR criteria. Professional development is a priority in Piedmont Unified with a recent focus on differen9a9on and Common Core.

Contract Information -‐ Salary Range: $95,706 -‐ $126,378 (205 work days), plus District contribu9on toward health/dental benefits of $7,000 employee; $14,000 employee plus one; $19,500 employee/full family
Qualifications The posi9on presents a superb opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide leadership within one of the leading school districts in the state.
Required Experience:
-‐ At least 5 years in a combina9on of service in a public elementary school to include teaching, counseling, and administra9on
-‐ Eligibility for a California Clear Administra9ve Services Creden9al
-‐ Demonstrated instruc9onal leadership that includes evalua9on, assessment, curriculum, and budge9ng
-‐ Excellent wri6en and oral communica9on skills
Preferred Experience:
-‐ Bi-‐lingual, experience with PLC model, experience with GATE, EL, and Special Educa9on requirements/programs
