PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIESThe International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) would like to work with you in promoting your business at this year’s AIPH International Horticultural Expo Conference.

AIPH International Horticultural Expo Conference – with a mandate agreed by the international convention, AIPH has been approving and regulating International Horticultural Expos, with our partners, since 1960. Enthusiasm for such expos has continued to grow, with millions of people visiting expos hosted all over the world. Recent successes over the last few years have included horticultural expos in Antalya, Turkey (2016),Tangshan, China (2016), Qingdao, China (2014) and Suncheon, Korea (2013). AIPH has already approved several more expos between now and 2024, including locations such as: Taichung (Chinese Taipei), Beijing (China), Sydney (Australia), Hatay (Turkey), Yangzhou (China), Qatar, Almere (Netherlands), Kahramanmaras, Turkey and Łódź, Poland. The overall number of visitors at these events is expected to exceed 30 million people in total, with billions of dollars being spent on developing these international spectacles, that can have the ability to stimulate the development of whole cities and transform the international reputation of hosting locations.

Each expo lasts for 6 months, with sites ranging from 50 to 500 hectares in size. Each one is carefully regulated, steered and monitored by AIPH. Organisers are required to report progress to AIPH meetings, and each expo sends senior decision-makers, and often city mayors, to the meetings.

The Conference invitees are people with an interest in international exhibitions, either currently hosting, or with the mindset to host one in the future. In attendance we expect organisers, consultants, supply companies, horticultural representatives and interested city officials from all over the world. The programme is now available, and I will send this via a separate document. The programme is focused on progress reports from Expos in preparation and applications from new cities as well as time for questions and sharing ideas.

The Conference provides a unique opportunity for businesses supplying products or services to expos to meet all the expo organisers face-to-face. Time will be provided for networking, with many opportunities to promote your business available throughout the Conference. Our sponsors are important to us, and we will, therefore, do our utmost to provide you with opportunities to grow your business and contacts.
