base for growth

Titus 2:1-12

Sound doctrine as base for growth.

Titus 2:1-12

1. Man are to be taught.

To be temperate.

Worthy of respect.

Self controlled.

Sound in faith.

Sound in love.

Sound in endurance.

2. Older women to be.

Reverent in the way they live.

Not to be slanderers.

Not be addicted to much wine.

To teach what is right.

3. Older women to train younger women.

To love their husbands.

To love their children.

To be self-controlled.

To be pure.

To be busy at home.

To be kind.

To be submitted to their husbands.

4. Young men.

To be self-controlled.

5. Slaves / workers.

To be subject to their masters.

To try to please them.

Not to talk back to them.

Not to steal from them.

To show they can be trusted.

NB: Because the grace………

Has appeared to all men.

It teaches us to say “NO”.

To ungodliness.

To worldly passions.

To live self-controlled lives.

To live upright and godly lives.
