“Take Time”Take Time to think…it is the source of power.

Take Time to play…it is the secret of perpetual youth.Take Time to read…it is the fountain of wisdom.

Take Time to work…it is the price of success.Take Time to love and be loved…it is a God-given privilege.

Take Time to be friendly…it is the road to happiness.Take Time to laugh…it is the music of the soul.

Take Time to dream… it is what the future is made of.Take Time to give…it is too short a day to be selfish.

Take Time to do charity…it is the key to heaven.Author Unknown

Jonathan’s Window

The Diploma/Mortar Board represents students graduating from non-traditional and tradition-al high schools in San Diego, Imperial and Orange Counties. JTF provides scholarships, workshops and resources to help them succeed in college or career programs.

The Hibiscus Flower represents the diverse group of high school Seniors who receive the Window of Opportunity Scholarships. All are welcomed into the JTF Ohana. Ohana is the Hawaiian word for family. Ohana means that no one is left behind.

The Chinese Character represents Dream. Windows of Opportunity programs provide hope for those who, against all odds, want to fulfill their dreams. Teamwork makes the dream work!

The Seashell represents Jonathan Tarr and his love for the ocean, his Chinese-Hawaiian heritage, and that true understanding of the aloha spirit that fosters universal mutual regard and respect for one another. When Jonathan died at 17 years old, he left a valuable legacy.
