SUMMER SERIES: “11 from 11”
This week’s speaker: Kent Allen serves as Oklahoma Christian's Vice President for Advancement. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Kent graduated from Oklahoma Christian in 1979 with a degree in Bible. For 25 years he was on the ministerial staff at Memorial Road Church of Christ, before assuming the role of director of operations for Continent of Great Cities—a ministry that places missionary teams throughout the Latin world. Returning to his alma mater in 2008, Kent served as a senior fundraiser and as Vice President for Alumni Relations before assuming his current role. He and his wife, Phyllis, have two sons, Kelly and Kory, both OC grads and former ballplayers for OC Eagles Basketball. Kent and Phyllis remain active at the Memorial Road Church of Christ where he served as an elder for five years .
