VALUE BEYOND BUILDING
Situated on a postage-stamped 13,000-sf mid-town site, 7stories of residential units rise above a 2-story partially below-grade, post-tensioned concrete parking garage. This apartment complex consists of 145 tastefully appointed and highly efficient rental apartments with an unusual mix of 121 studios and 24 one-bedroom units, tailored by the building’s enviable location and its anticipated tenant life style. Acoustically efficient floor, ceiling and wall assemblies assure 24/7 tenant privacy.
This building was constructed using prefabricated light-gage steel-framed metal wall panels. These load-bearing panels stand up to seismic forces and wind, and resist pests, warping and rotting. The panels were shipped to the site, and each floor was installed in just one week. This allowed other trades quick access to the site, and saved A&P 12% on the construction schedule.
